Great buy especially for ring doorbell

Live view of ring door bell camera and ability to hear the doorbell is what I purchased this for. Response of device is little laggy but ok overall. Many privacy features I still need to explore. Campers can be physically turned off and mic can be muted. Hope it lasts.

Exceptional sound ,live view security connection

What's not to like?

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It replaced my mother-in-law's 1st generation Echo Show 5 and she didn't really notice any difference, but I told her when she uses it for video calls it would make a difference. It has an upgraded camera so better picture. I love how easy these Amazon devices are to setup and once it is, even my mom-in-law can use it. :)

Not so good after a year

A lot of times it doesn't respond to commands. I have to yell sometimes and it would be a different echo in the house that would hear me an do the action.
