I love my Echo show 5, it the best choice I ever made. The sound quality is good and being able to watch the news on it is a plus.

I got this item for free from best buy (thanks!) however, Alexa was not very responsive to my commands, and sometimes could not hear me at all when I used the wake word. I am going to assume that's probably the reason why they gave this product away for free: it is because the product likely had factory defects. This specifically applies to this product alone. I have owned 2 Echo Dots and 1 Amazon Echo 1st Gen that did not necessarily have this exact problem. Or at least the listening problems those devices had was not as severe as this one. But for this product I would stand right next to my echo show, 1 foot away, shouting commands and sometimes it simply would not hear me. It got so frustrating to the point where I unplugged it and threw it in my junk drawer because it was pretty much useless. Its main functionality is to listen to voice commands and it could not do that. Having the display screen might make it up for that for some but not for this customer. I cannot recommend the product to paying customers because it might have this defect. Also, the screen is pretty bright too. Sometimes I like to put my Alexa devices on my nightstand and use it as an alarm clock. I tried using this device as an alarm clock but the screen was a little too bright for my taste. I would not put this on the nightstand but instead, I would put it in a kitchen or living room area. Thank you Best Buy for this free product. Amazon you need to fix these cheap products.

I really like it, I can see my dog when I’m working, and many more things is very nice to see family pictures when we walk by.

Wasn't sure if I was going to like this but I do. Set it up in the kitchen as itcomes in handy for avariety of things.

We love this device on our home. It just sits there. My child usually asks me a million questions now I tell him go ask Alexa.

Fairly easy setup as long as you have an Amazon account password need a little Unit B U sports highlights weather YouTube videos among many other things that just an amazing little device

Works well as a clock and for Alexa commands, but the screen is often taken up by ads and suggested content during the day. And the touch screen is not very accurate.

My wife absolutely loves this thing. She uses it as her alarm clock and for many other things that are over my head.
