    Perfect gift for my dad. He is bilingual, and she listens to both English and Spanish very clearly. He just had a newborn for lullabies

    I love my amazon echo so much. I have mine conveniently placed so i am always asking for timers and alarms. So handy!

    I love this device as it allows me to communicate with kids on upper floor without having to yell or look for my phone. Also, excellent for getting answers to quick questions and actually seeing them.

    I’ve been using an alexa in my phone for 10 years now and switched one of them to this echo show 5 for added security so I can see parts of my home when I am away.

    I have two of these. I use them with a blink camera as a baby monitor. They are good. Price is a little high and the screen is small. But if thats what you want then definitely buy these. They can also be combined with the blink doorbell.

One thing you can do to limit content that you do not want to see on your device's home screen is to swipe down from the top and navigate to Settings>Home Content and then toggle on or off any categories you would like or not like to see anymore. You can also go to your Display settings or Notification settings and customize those options as well. These are just a few tips you could try to hopefully improve upon your experience some.     I have many Amazon devices and I find that the echo show devices don’t hear or listen as well and always want to do something on their own when you’re not even using it I haven’t been a fan of most screen include included Amazon device devices I prefer the echo dot.

      I understand your frustration that Alexa isn't responding as well as it did on your older Echo Show 5. This is concerning since the newest model is designed with improved features including 2x the bass and clearer sound, which should enhance the overall experience including voice recognition. There are several factors that might be affecting Alexa's responsiveness:

      Microphone sensitivity settings: Try going to Settings > Device Options > Alexa's Voice and adjusting the microphone sensitivity
      Wake word detection: Ensure the wake word is set correctly and try speaking more directly toward the device
      Placement: The device's microphone array works best when it's not placed too close to walls, in corners, or near other electronic devices that might cause interference
      Software updates: Make sure your Echo Show 5 has the latest software by going to Settings > Device Options > Check for Software Updates
