Music while im cooking and timers. Looking up recipes. Asking the most random questions. Also hearing my two year old learn how to say alexa… adorable.

This product is great for playing music, setting timers, adding things to the grocery list, and looking up recipes. I wish it were cheaper and that you were able to change the angle of the screen, but otherwise is a great product.

SOMETIMES DOESNOT TURN ON OR DUPLICATE QUESTIONS. GOOD SOUND . LIMITED PODCASTS. SEEMS BEST BET IS TO GET NEWER MODEL. THIS SEEMS BEHIND THE TIMES.

For duplicate responses or outdated information: Ensure your device is running the latest software by going to Settings > Device Options > Check for Software Updates
For podcast limitations: You can link additional podcast services through the Alexa app under Settings > Music & Podcasts to expand your options

Underwhelming Echo Show Device

It also is not loaded with Netflix like it's larger sister device (which is the entire reason I bought this in the first place). The user interface is clunky but the sound quality is very good for a device of this size. I would not purchase again but for the money it's not a bad deal.

Great Device

I use it to replace an Echo Dot in the living room. My Dot had problems hearing my voice but was fine with other voices. The Echo 5 Show hears my voice well. It does all the things my Dot does but the adjustable clock is great. The sound is pretty good. I am happy with the Echo Show 5 and decided to buy an Echo Show 8 too.
