We have 3 in the house, so we know what to expect. Anyway, this one has a delayed response in both action and vocals. I’m not very happy with her and she may be going back.

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help improve responsiveness: ensure your Echo Show 5 has a strong internet connection as connectivity issues can cause delays, restart the device by unplugging it for 30 seconds then plugging it back in, check for software updates in Settings > Device Options > System Updates, ensure the device isn't placed near sources of interference like routers or other electronics, and try moving the device to a different location to see if Wi-Fi signal strength improves.
