It does a lot more though.

Posted .Hello MatthewM! Thank you for your feedback on the Amazon Echo Show 5. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing screen issues with your device. A screen that keeps going out can indicate a hardware defect or power supply problem. Try unplugging the device for 30 seconds and plugging it back in, ensure it's using the original power adapter, and check that the firmware is up to date through Settings. If the screen continues to malfunction after these steps, exchanging the unit is the right decision as this appears to be a hardware issue. I appreciate you sharing your experience and hope the replacement unit works properly for you!

Also, excellent for getting answers to quick questions and actually seeing them.

I use them with a blink camera as a baby monitor. They are good. Price is a little high and the screen is small. But if thats what you want then definitely buy these. They can also be combined with the blink doorbell.
