Nice sleek design

We are hoping this one lasts a little longer. Would give 5 stars but the support service that Amazon provides for these products is dismal.

Too many ads

It sounds good, but doesn’t work with AirPlay or Chromecast. I understand what the major players are doing, but the big three ecosystems choosing not to support features that the other ones have is frustrating. Amazon products are basically adware, you pay a lower price in exchange for a worse experimece, data collection and constant ads.

A screen that keeps going out can indicate a hardware defect or power supply problem. Try unplugging the device for 30 seconds and plugging it back in, ensure it's using the original power adapter, and check that the firmware is up to date through Settings. If the screen continues to malfunction after these steps, exchanging the unit is the right decision as this appears to be a hardware issue. Why Amazon would do this is crazy. I haven't set it up yet but I figure it sets up just like the other Echo(s) I have and have set up, which was fairly easy.
