The Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen) is built with an improved processor and enhanced audio, and when functioning properly, it should deliver reliable, long-lasting performance. If your device has become unresponsive, here are a few troubleshooting steps that may help restore functionality:
Power cycle the device — Unplug the power adapter from the back of the Echo Show 5, wait a full 30 seconds to allow the internal components to fully discharge, then plug it back in. Allow about 45 seconds for the device to reboot completely.
Check your Wi-Fi connection — Ensure your device has a strong and stable internet connection. A weak signal can cause the device to appear non-functional.
Update the Alexa app — Make sure you have the latest version of the Alexa app on your mobile device, as updates often resolve connectivity and performance issues.
