Underwhelming Echo Show Device

It also is not loaded with Netflix like it's larger sister device (which is the entire reason I bought this in the first place). The user interface is clunky but the sound quality is very good for a device of this size. I would not purchase again but for the money it's not a bad deal.

This product is great for playing music, setting timers, adding things to the grocery list, and looking up recipes. I wish it were cheaper and that you were able to change the angle of the screen, but otherwise is a great product.

Well, after hours of trying to set this up and troubleshooting, I never got it to work consistently. It would work 1 minute and then stop working the next, and now I'm at the point where it doesn't work at all. I now have this somewhat pricey device that I use as a speaker to listen to music on but nothing else. Also, this device shows you ads and you can't turn it off. Really? I'm spending money on a device that I can't disable ads on? Lastly, the device itself is very flaky. At one point, I looked at it and it actually had the wrong time on it. Seriously, a smart device that doesn't know what time it is? I had to restart the device to get it to display the correct time. So yeah, I'm a little disappointed with this product. The sound quality on the speaker is decent so that's the only reason why I didn't rate this 1 star.

I use it to replace an Echo Dot in the living room. My Dot had problems hearing my voice but was fine with other voices. The Echo 5 Show hears my voice well. It does all the things my Dot does but the adjustable clock is great. The sound is pretty good. I am happy with the Echo Show 5 and decided to buy an Echo Show 8 too.

I will not play video songs but 1g, 2g can... I got it for 54USD.... But audio clarity is more than expectation.. I will recommend to go for echo 8 instead of 5
