I will not play video songs but 1g, 2g can... I got it for 54USD.... But audio clarity is more than expectation.. I will recommend to go for echo 8 instead of 5

While I'm glad the audio clarity exceeded your expectations, I understand your disappointment that it won't play video songs like older generation models can. The Echo Show 5's compact 5.5-inch display is designed primarily for smart home control, video calls, and basic media viewing. Thank you for sharing your experience!

I literally have had to unplug and restart device at least once a week since purchasing. I've only had to do that to my 2nd gen perhaps once or twice per year.

Suggest to quickly change it's name so you can say the word Alexa when talking about it and not have it wake up. Also, seems to not like to shut down, I have to report Screen Off several times before it stays off.

I use it as an alarm clock and quick hands free inquiries. It also has the drop in feature. Great if kids have to wake up and get ready for school while your at work. it's like a nanny.

She loves it & she feels safer knowing it will call out for help in case of emergency. Or if she just wants to hear history stories back in her time.

The sound is much louder and clearer. It even has a little bit more processing speed. Much better from generation one I have.

Screen is easy to use and images are crisp. Setting up smart devices was easy and it communicates efficiently with the devices.

I use this as an intercom screen for my ring doorbell. Another useful feature I use is to make a shopping list which automatically transfers the list to my phone.

Connecting the ring to it was a little tricky but I was able to do it.
