We are constantly working to improve upon our products and services from feedback like yours to provide the best customer experience. I am happy to hear that you are enjoying your device so far. One thing you can do to limit content that you do not want to see on your device's home screen is to swipe down from the top and navigate to Settings>Home Content and then toggle on or off any categories you would like or not like to see anymore. You can also go to your Display settings or Notification settings and customize those options as well. These are just a few tips you could try to hopefully improve upon your experience some. Works but could be better

First, I recommend ensuring the device has the latest software by asking Alexa to check for updates or by going to settings, then device options, and then checking for updates. I also recommend ensuring the microphone is not muted, indicated by a red light on top of the device. I use them with a blink camera as a baby monitor. They are good. Price is a little high and the screen is small. But if thats what you want then definitely buy these. They can also be combined with the blink doorbell.
