I would recommend a few paths to try to fix this. First, you can try to test your network connection. You can do this by swiping down from the top and navigating to Settings>Network then tapping the "i" next to your Wi-Fi setting. In here, you can see if you have a strong connection. If you don't then you can tap Forget and then try to reconnect to it. (Be sure you know your Wi-Fi password before tapping forget.) If this doesn't resolve it, you can swipe down and navigate to Settings>Device Options>Check for Software Updates. This ensures that you have the latest update to address any bugs that may have happened. If neither of these work, then I would recommend contacting Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 to explore further options and troubleshooting available to you. The microphone still gives me problems when multiple Alexa devices are near to each other but that is to be expected.

Mid putting on my uniform, “Alexa what’s the weather” (because Texas is unpredictable), I’m able to figure out how many layers to wear for the afternoon and night as I’m brushing my teeth/doing my hair. Not to mention when I get home, I can turn my bedroom lights/TV on and off on command. Best purchase ever.

I will not play video songs but 1g, 2g can... I got it for 54USD.... But audio clarity is more than expectation.. I will recommend to go for echo 8 instead of 5

A significant improvement over the 2nd Gen

I was always repeating requests on the 2nd Gen. Not so with the new one. A worthwhile upgrade for me.
