Takes too long to respond sometimes and it lags or it doesn’t respond all of the time to our commands. Wish it was more responsive but other than that we like to use it for music while cooking in the kitchen (when it works properly).

Very slugging with regard to response time despite having high speed internet. I’m referring to working with the touch screen

Love it. Louder than i imagined. Can connect to phone via bluetooth or use with different applications. It is very convenient.

Clear video — especially from the front camera. For example, the older Rexing V1 gets praise for crisp 1080p video and a very wide field of view (~170°), which helps catch a broad area of the road

It is a great product. Has a good loud sound, clear voice, easily manage, parental controls, and lots of other great features. Highly recommended.

I have 2 other echos i love all if them. Especially asking to see the front door. If someone rings the door bell.

Love this show! I bought it for the kitchen, it was on sale and I wanted more speakers for music in the house. My house is large, so dropping the cash on Sonos seemed steep. I've found the latest generation Alexa devices have come a long way in sound. I'm starting to hook up speakers to the aux on some of the older dots now. I had to immediately get into the equalizer settings to turn down the bass. Sound quality is 6/10 but when it's paired with multiple other devices now, the house fills with music. I just found out it supports video calls, too. Nice bonus.

Serves as a great media device but the screen is no larger than your phone screen. It also is not loaded with Netflix like it's larger sister device (which is the entire reason I bought this in the first place). The user interface is clunky but the sound quality is very good for a device of this size. I would not purchase again but for the money it's not a bad deal.

This product has a lot to offer. View your cameras at any time with a split screen option. The sound quality is amazing for its size. Looks great sitting on the work bench or the office desk.

Primary reason for purchase was to have ringer for doorbell / connection even if i’m not home, smarthome hub for smartlights. Added bonus is music speaker for Amazon music. Testing both Ring & Blink doorbells, & both announce on it within seconds. No need for a ringer- this does that plus! My smartlights show on hub. Took off a star because it’s not easy to control things from device screen. Find it necessary to setup on Alexa app on phone. Then it all works! Also, though Music sounds great! the Show isn’t linking to ‘my music” on my Amazon - if i tell it it to play an album from my music, It chooses something from Amazon music instead. Then goes to next thing on Amazon, not next on my device”s Amazon music. Workaround is to cast from phone to echo show- that works. Until I stop it. When i want to restart & say “play” it will play last thing that Show itself played (News, Weather), not what was playing. Even though phone shows am connected via bluetooth to Show. My very old echo dot linked to my music - this may be a more recent software update. Other than these annoyances, it does what i need, plus so much more! Alexa Show device - echo calls, announcements, video camera (which can be covered), music speaker, plus smarthome hub. A bit rough around the edges, - & not the same as show 15, but substantially les expensive- A very nice little hybrid device that does all i need and more than I expected at an affordable price!

I recommend the Echo Show 5. It is small enough to be unobtrusive on my office desk, but large enough to see clearly. Sound is good, and the screen is quite clear. Great value for the price.

I give the Echo Show 5 2 1/2 stars. I have tried to adapt to it, wanted to like it, but was going to return it until I learned Best Buy only allows a FIFTEEN DAY return window! This will be my last electronics purchase from Best Buy. I should have purchased this from Amazon directly, as their return policy is generous. Fifteen days is just not enough time to decide if you want to keep something, especially when you are leaning towards returning it but wanting to give it a chance. So, what makes me want to return it, or I guess now smash it with a hammer? First, it has to be told twice many time. It will acknowledge your selection, but the station won't play until you command a second time. I have rather ancient Dots, so I thought this would be an upgrade, and it is in terms of sound quality. But even there, because it is more powerful, the loudness variation from say level 2 to level 3 is much greater than with the Dot. This matters to me because I use level 2 or 3 when listening to Pandora at night, but with this unit, 2 is sometimes too low, but 3 is too loud. Another example: I'll command it to Pandora and at some point it will switch, without any command or prompting, to something else. Did I mention I wish I could return it?

Good sound for compact size. I mean you wont blow out the walls but it sounds nice. I replaced the previous 5” show with this. I’m pleased.

I have an Echo Show 5 and 8 and my granddaughter really wanted one. So, just because, I bought this one for her and she absolutely loves it.

Liked the product very much. My kid is playing with it daily asking Alexa most of the things he need. It was fast delivery and easy to order. Got 10$ gift card during my initial purchase which is cheaper too. Thanks bestbuy

The Amazon - Echo Show 5 is user friendly. It allows me to stay connected and have full entertainment at the tips of my hands while my family enjoys it.

We caught this on sale over the holidays. I didn’t notice the other large screens, the more updated products of the same nature. But this small 5 1/2 inch screen was perfect for my nightstand. The wife moved my normal Alexa into the bathroom and this one sits on the nightstand
