Liked these so much, we bought them for everyone in our family for Christmas that didn't already have them (upgraded a few that didn't have to displays). It's amazing how reliant you can get on these once you're comfortable with giving voice requests (and learn the specific commands and patterns). I mostly use it as a very expensive desk clock, but the occassional video or quick music request while I'm working is so nice. I would use this more often than I do, but I also have a couple of the larger ones around the house.

Love using the Echo Show 5 as an alarm clock. I can set multiple alarms for different days of the week. Several different alarms plus wake to music. This unite replaced a 20+ year old Sony alarm clock, which still works, but does not do all this smart device offers. Not to mention, this device is a much smaller footprint giving back much needed space on the nightstand. Would highly recommend. Purchase before Christmas on sale. For less than $50, cannot go wrong. Worse case take it back. Never had an issue with BB.

Just buy it! You won’t regret it!! My 5 year old loves talking to Alexa. The screen is a perfect size (not too big not too small) and I love that we can video chat with others who have the Alexa app. I use it for alarms, reminders, watching videos on prime and Netflix, and listening to all kinds of podcasts and news stories. Seriously, you won’t regret purchasing this little gadget. Only thing I don’t like is that it must be plugged in to work but that’s not even close to a deal breaker given all that it can do!

Perfect size for kids room. Can easily drop in the see what granddaughter is up to. Plays kid songs and the skill games are fun to use.

I have purchased the Amazon Alexa speakers so this is the first of new line I have gotten. So far I am enjoying the quality of the video and the sound is awesome for such a small device. I use it in my kitchen for everything from just listening to music while doing the dishes or cooking and need a timer or recipe. Watching TV or a movie on the screen is really no differnet than on your Cell phone but I feel it has a great picture on it. There are many different features that can be very handy. If you happen to see this item on sale I strongly suggest picking one up.

The size is just right for any night stand or counter top. It doesn’t take up much space and Alexa makes this device so easy to work with. Easy set up process and I love that I was able to add a picture of my family on the front, the speaker is nice also.

Got this to just replace my old school alarm clock and have to say it has been great with all the feature's that you can go and use with it and be able to turn on the light's by asking Alexa and even able to go and if someone is ringing the door belle I can check and see who is there without having to grab my phone. Plus being able to go and have Alexa make note's for me and also set my alarm for me and with the music of my choice. Also on how small it is the speaker on it is amazing with sound.

Great video quality and easy to set up. Size is perfect for a nightstand. Works great with other Amazon affiliated brands.

This Amazon Echo comes packed with many features that are great! The video quality is excellent and it's integration with the use of the Ring Doorbell system makes this unit a must have for that feature alone. It's easy to use and it can be very informative, allowing you to plan your day with it and make your day much easier to navigate. I would recommend this device.

I wasn’t aware of how incomplete my life was without these little gems in it. Alexa makes my home so much easier to maintain. She literally connects to everything and with just one command, will arm your house for you with ease. I recommend these to everyone, and plan to purchase the larger screen option next! *This device was part of a promotion. Ring outdoor security cameras, when purchased, came with a free Echo Show. Upon leaving the store, I ended up with two of these little gems.

Just set up the Echo Show (easy!) and love it tho must admit am only using a tiny amount of its functions. It’s linked to 2 Echo Dots. I can request desired music, radio, etc. to play on all 3 devices by their group name or only on selected device...very cool. I’m a senior citizen so am abit slow in setting up various functions but will keep working at it! Useful & fun.

Nice product. Perfect size for a bedroom or office. Responsiveness could be a little better. I like the screen and sound.

Great deal. It does more than I expected. I can make calls,watch the news not just listen to it. Look at movies. Ask Alexa questions and get the answer's like directions,political, sport's, etc. Play music and if have problems sleeping play meditation, rain,waterfalls, thunder storms,soothing sounds. Great deal.I will be buying more for gifts and bigger one for myself

This thing is just wickedly cool! We have the 8" show in the kitchen and I decided that I needed a new clock in the bedroom so I picked up one of these. The sound for playing music and other things is just about the same quality as the 8" show which is impressive, and the main face can be set to operate as a clock, which is what I was looking for. This is an impressive package for the price and I highly recommend it. Great things really do come in small packages!

This is a great entry point into the Echo Show devices. We used this as our primary for a while but eneded up upgrading to the Echo Show 8 then to the Echo Show 10. Moved the 5 into other rooms and it's great for video calls, the weather, and to use as a bedroom clock with alarm. I do like being able to turn off the camera with a simple switch too. For the price, if you're considering trying a device like this out, the Echo Show 5 is perfect.

I previously bought the Echo Dot for my 90 year old mother, but she wasn’t happy with it because she couldn’t get it to talk to her. So I bought the Echo Show because it has a screen and can do so much more. My mom enjoys reading the different items that are on the display. She particularly enjoys seeing my calendar and knowing my schedule. And I love setting reminders for her to take her medicine or to eat when I am gone. I look forward to adding other features especially the flood light/camera.

I like this product. I can sing along the lyric when listen to music or watch the camera of my ring bell.

This is really easy to use. Co trols my Rung alarm system and can even view my cameras from it.

I received this Amazon echo when I purchased my ring security flood light. Otherwise I never would’ve purchased it and unfortunately I never would’ve known what a great little additional this is to my household. Alexa is a very nice little assistant to have around she can do almost anything and if she can’t do it she will let you know. Beyond pleasantly surprised at how great this echo five works. The only bad thing I have to say is that I wish it was the bigger version but you can’t complain when you basically get it for free. I will purchase the other version in the future but this is a great little system. I only gave it four stars as I’ve only had it for under 30 days maybe I’ll come back with updates

Sound is not nearly as good as the original Echo, screen is not as big as older Echo Show's, camera is uh...present, but this is still a good item overall. There's a good balance of "enough." - Screen is sufficient for seeing notifications, adjusting lights, etc, without taking up a bunch of space, but I'm not about to watch TV on it. - Speaker(s?) easily outdone in sound quality/volume by basically any phone/tablet/stand-alone bluetooth speaker I own, but it's enough for listening to news or a little music while cooking. - Menu is simple, easily navigable, and without bloat. - Voice control works fine, but definitely responds better to deeper, masculine tones. - I dunno. Just don't expect anything amazing out of it, and it'll be a fine/functional tool.
