This is wonderful for Pulling up recipes while working in the kitchen. Using as a timer and also it works great with our nest security system. We can even tell it to show us a Camera over the screen to see who is at the front door while in the middle of preparing dinner.

My wife and son cannot use the show enough. My wife loves getting recipes without the hassle, my son love the trivia while eating at the breakfast bar and I just got to ask for my daily news briefing and my music while making breakfast for the family. Plus the size is just perfect.

I added this to my bedroom where I use it as an alarm clock, to play music, and to check the weather so I can choose an appropriate outfit for the day. Instead of using amazon music I was able to connect my Spotify with it which is super convenient.

I have this on my nightstand. I can easily see my outdoor cameras and answer the door right from bed. Lol I will watch movies or listen to music while I’m falling asleep and my granddaughter loves to watch her cartoons on it. Only downfall is this model does not play Hulu.

Purchased this to replace my echo spot. This device is an upgrade all around. The screen is larger which makes it easier to read. The speaker is louder and sounds better. The UI is easy to use. The physical switch to block the camera is also appreciated, especially in the bedroom.

Got this with the ring doorbell for my elderly parents since they can’t walk as fast to the door. It’s been very useful. My mom enjoys Alexa & what she can do by just asking like playing her favorite music or to call someone.

The size is perfect. The communication with Alexa is super easy, and I love the ability to see the lyrics while listening to Prime Music. The displays are nice, and the ability to add your own picture is a bonus. I clearly see the security camera on the screen. I will be purchasing another.

I already had the dot and this one came with my ring doorbell, this is by far my favorite, I can ask her for a recipe and it shows me a video, I ask it to show me my front door(on my ring) and it shows on the screen, if I ask for a song it shows me the lyrics....this Alexa is great!

Im not very tech savvy and wouldnt have purchased this but received it free with another purchase. I’m still learning it’s features but love the sound and bass and ease of use. Reliable for use as an alarm or scheduler. I plan on getting one for my mom too.

this is a great new addition to our Alexa family. easy to set up out of the box. will buy another one as a gift while they are on sale for a great price. also comes in a larger size but this was a better fit for the kitchen counter. and GREAT sound.

By now nearly everyone has had some experience with Alexa, and this brings the added utility of visual results to compliment the audible results. I use it for controlling smart home devices, searching the web and playing music. Very stable and easy to use.

This has helped my life in so many ways. I struggle with waking up in the morning so I use the alarm. I struggle figure out how to play music sometimes so it helps with that. And sometimes when I’m confused about something I’ll ask Alexa and get and answer so it helps with that.

I am a big believer in Amazons products. This show is small but has a great speaker and is my alarm. No more fumbling with buttons all I do is ask Alexa to wake me at a specific time. The show even reduces the light at night so there is no light pollution. I love this little thing.

I live in an apartment complex that has some crazy things going on and so I bought this to be able to see my cameras. Also Alexa gives me little ideas and remembers things for me. I wanted the Show8 but only had the Show5, so I got it anqqd it was a great buy, just wish Alexa would understand alittle better, which is reason for 4 stars but otherwise good and would recommend!

Love this! I use it on my nightstand as my clock & for music, weather & current events! Definitely looks good & easy to use. You have to customize it in settings!!! I like this size and glad I purchased it! Definitely recommend this! And buy the stand!

The echo show 5 is a great device. It was very user friendly. It only took 2 minutes to set up. The device is small but the pictures are great! I use it as an alarm clock, for playing music, movies, video calling. I liked it so much, I bought one for everyone in my family.

Love my echo show. It’s small but not too small . The speaker sounds great and just loud enough! ...You get a live in assistant with Alexa. This is a hub so you can control all of your smart home devices and also display your photos on the screen !

This is a great little display. To be honest, both instances of we getting one of these, it was included "free" with other items. But I am very happy with it. It also works with Alexa guard, like the gen 3 echo dots to detect glass breakage, or smoke detectors going off. This also has a better camera than the older echo shows. So if you wand to drop in and view anything, it can adjust better to seeing the area around the show. I also very much like the manual slide cover on the camera. Nice feature if are at all paranoid about alexa spying on you. Quality of this echo show also feels better than the previous generations. Just like the 3rd gen eco dot was a huge improvement over the 2nd gen. The display is nice, but is small. But this is the smallest version. I probably use this most of the time to either check the weather, or view the ring doorbell.

This guy sat at my bedside for a long time now. It does what I intended it for a night clock/alarm that also lets me run my Alexa empire. It’s soon to be replaced by its 8” sibling, but we’ve had a lot of good times, as it graduates to another room

After getting the echo show 5 and echo dots, I sold my Apple HomePod. Very easy to use and compatible with a lot of devices. Works well with ring video doorbell. When someone rings your bell the video will pop up on the echo show 5. Definitely recommend
