I didn't know that it was a stand alone alexa device. I figured I would just give it away. But after finding out if was stand alone and we had no talking device, decided to hook it up. It's fun I guess. It has access to my Ring camera's so I can just say "Alexa show me my front yard", etc and it pops up on the screen. It's not chargeable so you have to leave it plugged in.
