It was on sale for a reasonable price of $50. Probably wouldn't have paid more than that for it as it seems to have limited use when you asked them questions more specific than "What is the weather?" For what it is, it is more than useful for my needs and to play around with. I use it for sleep sounds, little reminders, video occasional video chat to other people in the house, and more importantly to find my phone because I misplace it all the time around the house.

Could be easier to setup. The unit itself is easy but once you connect it to a ring doorbell or other devices it's kind of a pain in the butt. Also zooming in on the screen is not great. I gave one to my mother-in-law and it was difficult for her as well. We wanted to make video calls to each other so she could see and interact with the grandchildren.
