Product is still good, dots are practical not just for fun. Plugs are easier to use than anticipated and bought as a safety feature that should work well.

Same Alexa service, but great audio and a display. This was obtained through a promotion on Black Friday so I don’t know that I would necessarily buy the 5” over the larger 8” display. However, if you’re looking for the Show model and don’t necessarily care about the display size this is a good choice. The audio is loud and maintains good levels.

This is my second Echo Show 5. It is just what I was looking for. The only thing that would be a nice addition would be some type of battery back up in case of power outage. Will eventually buy additional units or the next generation...don't need a bigger screen for my use, so I as not interested in the larger version. Solid value, especially since I picked it up on sale.

I purchased this for my dad who has been recently diagnosed with dementia. Although I find this to be easy to use and entertaining, He has a hard time talking to it, because Alexa is not Alexis and does not always know how to answer his questions. Needs a bigger clock display and would be nice to display if it is day or night.

I use this every day. I love that I can just slap it to snooze. Wish it could act as a Bluetooth speaker tho. I am getting hard of hearing in my ripe old age of 43 and would like my bedroom tv’s audio to play though it because it is right next to my head. Also it is the only Alexa I have that can fast forward through news flash items.

Excellent device. Super useful. The sound and image are superb.

Glad to have Alexa in my office. Smaller Echo fits well in the limited space available l, but still gives me all the benefits of having Alexa nearby.

Works well. Gives notification of Amazon deliveries. So many skills you can enable. Sometimes overwhelming. It is definitely listening even if the mic is off. To test it, talk about a random subject/topic/item/product that you have never talked about and watch as your prime account magically suggest a related product within a few hours.

My family loves Alexa-enabled devices. We love being able to talk to Alexa and asking her about internet based information, but also to ask her to control other devices in our home. We also have 7-year-old twin grandsons who love asking Alexa to do "research" for them, including looking for the trailers for old Godzilla movies. The "smart display" on this device is great, and we're looking for to upgrades in the future! We wish it was a little cheaper, but we bought it on sale so we're thankful about that.

Quiet and great it is a must buy get them now before their gone.
