I have to treat myself with an Amazon Alexa

I went to order one and saw this newer version. I decided to go with this device over the discounted first gen because of the upgraded camera. Just fantastic. Loving it since the first Alexa word.

Best device ever

Being able to “FaceTime” with this echo without being home is great. The drop in feature is a game changer. The video calls are the best. Making announcements has kept me from screaming to the kids to come down for dinner. This device is like a cell phone!

Good for starting out

Good but not the right product for me

The screen is good quality showing sharp and bright images and videos. I like that when not in use, it shows you tips to get the most out of your device and snippets of news or other interesting topics. Alexa is responsive and helpful. My problem is that we wanted to stream out Wyzecam to this device but it kept buffering most of the time and it would stop the stream every 10 minutes, so it made it useless for our primary purpose. If it wasn't for that, we would have kept it.
