I like the fact that it works well with The ring doorbell. I NVR tried it but you can face video with others. You can program this with Alexa. You can play music, ask it questions and get a response. I purchased it for a birthday present for my son.

I received this as a birthday present and was leary about having a unit listening all the time, but hey, already have a phone doing that! Connected it up and configured to our smart light, Ring doorbell, and TV. So cool what it can do! Still much more to learn! Love it!

Great way to get news and stay up to date on what’s going on around the world and local; you can watch movies and YouTube videos on it. Can contact other family members who also have it. It’s been great living away from family having this is a blessing

I like Alexa as it is simple to use. However, the video calling is only for Alexa to Alexa and it limits its usage.

Very easy plug and play item to add to the rest of our smart home. We use this as an alarm clock, baby monitor, and ring security camera display. We’ve owned it for a short while and definitely not disappointed. The screen clarity display is high defined with the ability to call the grandparents with camera options.

Allows me to be able to see my visitors without pulling out my phone. Works great when hands are full.

Love it. This smaller version of the show 8 works great for a desk or nightstand.

Its definitely better than a regular Alexa. Compact, yet the screen is very viewable, including at angles.

We have had this since black Friday but just plugged it in the other day. It came right up, connected immediately and seems very helpful. I haven't really played with it much as we have been super busy, but I have a lot of email, showing me when to do with it and I think it will be fun once I work on it.

Works as stated. Great to have a screen in the kitchen and much cheaper than purchasing a tablet.

Echo show 5 is a great device. It is on nightstand by my bed. Used as general Alexa device with all its pluses and minuses. Screen quality is good for relatively inexpensive device. Great nightstand clock at the least, and much much more. I now have an echo show 8, which I use as general Alexa device but also love it as a device to use zoom, see my pics; see recipes and news clips.

This is great to have. My husband really enjoys being able to listen to music anytime he wants.

This makes the perfect gift for non-tech savvy older adults who once you show them what it does to fall in love with it! My mother-in-law gets news updates, music, the weather, the air quality index and everything else now from this device, she can’t stop talking about it thank you for calling!

Pros: * Alexa can correctly pickup my accent. Not always but sometimes I faced difficulty with Siri and Google home but never with Alexa. * I was missing a gadget which display the time at night. This one has very soothing display of time at night. So you don't need to reach to your mobile to check the time. Cons: Probably youtube feature is not great as that of Google home. Overall satisfied given the price range

Definitely better than the larger version and the adjustable stand is a must add on to adjust the viewing angle

Decent way for the kids to see their grandparents easily. Has a decent picture and sound quality.

I got the echo show for its size cuz its perfect for my side table. Upgraded from the dot. Love the screen too

Great price for two Echo 5. Saving for Xmas gifts. I own the larger Echo Show and am quite pleased with it.
