This is my second echo show. I’m using this echo show 5 as a bedside alarm, which also allows me to control everything around the house and view all my cameras. It’s so easy to set up, and took less than 5 minutes and connected with my smart home immediately.

Absolutely great product from Amazon. Along with the echo you can access alexa for a mass varity of everyday things. Check the weather, arm a house alarm, control lights and thermostats. Possibilities are endless. Such a great tool to have in the home.

Love love love!!! Super easy to setup, connected within seconds to my ring camera and other devices. It really does it all. Make video calls, audio calls, play games, l view videos, watch streaming apps etc. had I known it did all of this I would have purchased this sooner.

I bought this because it was on sale and I did it as an impulse buy. It was a little bit smaller than I expected but it does have a 5.5 inch screen. I bought it so that I can put it on my kitchen countertop to control my ring alarm and ring video doorbell. So far so good. Camera quality is good

Good little product. There’s a bit of a lag between seeing who’s at my door with the Ring doorbell, but that could be the Ring product since there’s a lag on my smartphone too. I wouldn’t pay full price for this but if it’s on sale it’s reasonable. We have it in the living room and have our personal pictures scrolling through as a screen saver.

Echo Show 5 primarily is another Alexa enabled device but more than doubles itself when it comes to the features from other Echo products from Amazon. Capabilities such as connecting to your Ring video doorbell, providing customized news/weather updates or feeds of interest, showing personal photos as a digital photo frame and making video calls from Skype are very good features to have. The in-built speakers are pretty good as well. Overall a good product.

Love these! I bought a few throughout my house. My whole family uses them (including my 4 year old!) for weather, news, music, recipe ideas. Also good to drop in to talk to the fam downstairs when I'm upstairs! Video calls are great as well for others with Alexa.

Nice having a voice controlled music/ radio type device. I even watch some shows. Just a nice device

We were looking for an echo device that would work as a great clock as well. Thinking that the Echo 10 and the Echo 8 is bigger and would have a bigger clock is misleading. We ended up with the 5, the smallest one but with the bigger clock face. It was just what we needed.

This is a nice addition to the Alexa devices I already own as well as the Ring doorbell I purchased it with. Being able to see the ring cameras I have around the house from this Echo show is great. I do think it’s poor customer service to sell the base separate. It’s hard to video chat without it.

I had the echo in my bedroom so that if someone comes to the door, I can hear the announcement from my Ring. Problem is.... she suddenly said "this is your story" but there was no words, just sounded like a beach with static. VERY WEIRD. I never play games or ask Alexa to read a story, espceially MY STORY? I was in bed so there was no sound she could have mistaken for my voise. I have to believe it was a technical error but I did take it out of my room

Always hesitated to purchase an amazon product, but I got it for free with a Blink security camera system, and I must say it is a great product to have in the kitchen! Can look up recipes, news, watch the camera feed, even play games with the family!

I am glad that I purchased this thing. It helps me to make smart home so easily and very effectively. Kids love to play with it as well. Very user friendly to interact and improvised algorithms to catch and understand the requests made. Many features which are very useful in day to day life as well.

Bought this for our end of connection to grand kids during covid. Works well. Connects to my soundbar via BT for cranking up the music. Also connected to our Ring doorbell for quick replying to visitors.

This unit is decent and may be a good fit if countertop or tabletop space is limited.

Pocket size echo show giving you internet, tv and music streaming functions. Great to sit by my computer as I work from home to just glance over and see the news. Definitely a buy inexpensive buy. Works seamlessly with a my smart cameras and other smart home devices.

Better with the stand, ended up purchasing the 8” version for as the 5” just wasn’t large enough to use in the kitchen. Previously, I purchased the 5” one for my mom and gave her a stand with it to help with the camera angle issues as the camera doesn’t point up high enough in my opinion. I did get a good deal on this before Christmas so for the price I paid it was good once I found a different spot in my house for it.

The Alexa show is a nice addition to my smarthome environment. I use it primarily as a bedside clock due to its auto dimming functionality and the ability to set and snooze alarms. I also can view my ring doorbell camera directly from the show, which is a nice addition.
