Easy to use love when you play music it shows lyrics and very helpful when adding devices to it. Buying more for Xmas for presents

Works great and is reliable with a good screen. Sounds is also good and set up is super easy.

Excellent sound quality & volume. Connected to my Ring doorbell, Ring camera & Amazon Prime seamlessly. Only drawback is that it has to stay plugged in to function.

So nice to have a second Echo Show that is not so big and bulky and has such a great picture. Wish volume was little louder but that may be my problem :) Awesome!

Not sure what more does Echo show 8 has but Echo 5 do the job. You will need to buy the stand otherwise the camera is focus on the ceiling. Image is clear, sound is good. The support for additional languages is great too. I don’t like that the wake up word can only be “Alexa, Echo” it can’t be customized but I am sure its for self marketing. Phone call quality is good. You can only video call other Alexa devices. Unless you link other applications such as Facebook, which I couldn’t try because if device language is Spanish it doesn’t support the communication with the application due to the language. I bought two, I have my grandma’s set up in English and Spanish and the other one just English different states, which is great, in case I want to check in/drop in.

Gave this as a Christmas gift and they love it! Compact size fits almost anywhere. Easy to set up and operate which was key for this recipient.

I wasn't sure I needed this, except that I needed a gift and this presented itself in a timely way. Now, having had it in our kitchen for a couple of weeks, I can say it was well worth it. The ease of connecting it to Ring so I can see what's going on outside (I know, I could use my phone, but I'd have to find it, and Alexa just let's you ask!) and the helpful scrolling articles and reminders are great. I probably won't use it for video calls, but it seems like it would work fine for that. And, who knows? Maybe I'll be back and update.

Alex is easy to use, we bought the 8 for the Kitchen and the 5 as my alarm close in the bedroom. Love asking for recipes on the 8 in the kitchen

Decided to get a bigger Echo device and this size is perfect. Not too big or too small. Sound is awesome and the picture is very clear. No regrets.

Love that I’m able to drop in on other people who have the echo show and I can FaceTime them. The speaker quality is amazing and the screen is the perfect size.

It's easy to set up and use. Ability to close the camera & turn off the microphone. It has a short cord so it's mean to be close to an outlet.

I was debating between this and the 10" 2nd Generation but for my bedside, this will do. I do wish it was faster when asking Alexa for websites as my Echo Dots seem to reply a lot faster. I understand this integrates with it's own browser or WikiHow so that may be something that can improve in the future. For controlling my devices (lights, Ring Doorbell 2, etc.), it works fine and the screen seems surprisingly good for a lower resolution. It will not be my go-to for Prime movies but nice to know that feature. I do like the fact there is a physical camera cover as it does make me feel a little more secure. All in all, a good product and priced correctly. Sound is nothing to brag about as I think my Echo Dot sound better but good enough.

I love my Echo Show 5. I use this for my alarm clock and to play music. I purchased a second one for my daughter's room.

Was able to integrate with my smart lights and security system. Makes things easy to use! Also fun to interact with Alexa to play music on Amazon!

Was looking for an at home assistant when I found this one on sale for $45 totally worth the price! You can even watch tv and movies on it.

Long story short our home has had Alexa devices from the Gen one dots and large cylinder Echo. Then we upgrade to multiple 8in Echo shows and new Dots. I bought a Show 5 around Christmas when they were on sale and after a day of owning we went out and bother another one for the kid's room. The screen is large enough to see vs other smaller screens like the echo spot. Its video camera makes chatting with family easy. Overall it is not easily one of my favorite Echo devices and we have 2 autos, the Echo glasses etc.. so we have a lot of Echo and this is easily in my top 3
