Absolutely love my Echo Show 5"!! I purchased a similar smart clock, but I couldn't control remotely (you had to be on the same WiFi network). I love the Echo Show 5" because I can control it remotely from the app!

This is a good little device with a lot of functionality. The full Alexa experience and then some with the visual aspect. You get the added alarm clock with all the bells and whistles. It can show you streaming content, so if you don’t have a larger screen nearby, you can use this to watch movies and tv shows. Pretty cool!

Bought this with the hope that Amazon being tied into Ring would pop up video of any motion alerts...but it does not. It does the same announcements as the echo dots where motion is detected. Only if doorbell is pushed/rang it will pull the video. It's not instantaneous depending on network speed. The sound is Great and it has some cool other features. But seriously, at this point in time with tech this thing should be capable to act like a surveillance monitor...or amazon should at least put the option. With music sync with Dots throughout the house is nice, but the echo show was having issues there. Amazon seems to need to touch up the software or UI. major delays and setbacks with trying to request a song, or the app will say one is playing.... major glitches.

I like every function and easy ... Good action and responsible...

This was purchased as a gift for my granddaughter who wanted the Echo Dot Clock. I thought this would be more useful and do much more that she hadn't thought about. Since I purchased one for myself, why not get two.

Set up is difficult, but future potential of device is quite interesting.

I use it to tell me the news everymorning. It's a neat addition.

I really love my Amazon - Echo Show 5" Smart Display with Alexa. We now are using 3 different Echo devices in our house and 1 on our car! Just impressed with how these devices have assisted us in managing our daily life.

I bought two of these and an Alexa Sub. I have one on each nighstand. My wife has one on her side and I have one on mine. The sound quality isn't bad, not the greatest, but throw in the sub and it completes it. We use it as an alarm clock and it's not as flexible as what you'd have on a smartphone but it does the job. Also, we use it as a digital picture frame so it's pretty nifty.

I dont know if it’s my particular model, but this one is replacing our echo spot in our living room and it has trouble hearing and understanding me. I have to practically yell at it just to get its attention, and once I finally have it, it understands what I’m asking from it about 30% of the time.

I was debating on whether or not I was going to get the show but I finally decided two and I purchased a camera to go with it as well. Best decision I ever made because I can just drop in my sons room and watch him to make sure he is okay.

I like this show 5 I just wish it was also a security camera so I could keep an eye on my son when he’s running around. Love that I can view my security system on it and it fits perfect anywhere

Only complaint that really sticks after owning for nearly a year Alexa will tell me Spotify isn’t compatible then ask again and it plays. Tried checking for firmware update everything seem to be up to date as of now. Occasional signal loss might disable voice command to turn off wake up alarm or maybe Alexa knew I would oversleep :).

After enjoying the Echo in another room for the past few months, we added a Show to the kitchen. What a great convenience! From weather forecasts to recipes, we're finding new uses almost every day for the device and it's display screen.

Added this for bedside so could view Ring doorbell alerts. Also have an 8” in another part of the house. Both are clear and very easy to program which is more than I can say for the Ring doorbell pro!

I am loving my echo five I am just learning to add pictures to it and I love the fact that I can ask questions as to what time of the day is the weather and find out information that I need to do I’ll from just asking Alexa questions

It is easy to set up. I put one in my kitchen. My wife really enjoys it.
