Screen gives this Alexa much more bang for the buck. Shows lyrics during most popular songs, recipes are clearly spelled out for you, and weather reports are given by the day or hour. Alexa however frequently gets confused and doesn't know how to answer many questions. Also don't place to close to other Alexas as the far field microphones are sometimes too sensitive and go to wrong Echo.

I like this product a lot. I like that it has a screen. I have a couple other Alexa’s in my house all different ones. I keep them muted when not in use and turned off listening in settings. My only issue is privacy with amazon products.

I truly love my Echo Show 5. I keep it on my nightstand and it is connected to my Ring Doorbell. Doing the night I can see what’s going on outside without getting up. Not too small or large, perfect! Don’t wast your dollars on the Amazon Dots.

I love this Alexa!! Its great if you have a Ring doorbell, as you can ask Alexa "Who is at my door" and she will show you! Alexa also come in handy to show recipes while I cook! It makes my life much easier in the kitchen!

got one on my side and my wife's side of the bed. Personally I feel the best use for this is bedside. custom alarms, weather info and handsfree with alexa when your tucked into bed and don't have to get your phone to shut something off is nice.

Thus unit is solid and well built, Great screen resolution and the speakers sound so full and warm when you play music through it. Easy to setup.... I have not been able to get my Ring to link : ( That was the only frustrating thing..

I bought this as a bundle with the Ring Doorbell. I use it exclusively for that very reason. It works great when I am in the kitchen and the doorbell rings. I have immediate access to live video of my front door as a visitor approaches.

New upgrade from my old iHome desk clock. Easy setup and ready to use in minutes. If you have ring cameras, great idea to link it with device so you can view what's outside. Must buy especially when it's priced at $20.

I found that setting up and using my Echo Show was so very simple. When I walk in to an empty home after work I can hear the days events, check my calendar for the next day, call a friend or family member, turn on my TV, etc.... I am addicted!

The screen is about as large as my cell so it's good for a desk clock without being distractive. I bought this for my mom to listen to the television when she falls asleep. The small size won't light up the room and disturb the rest of the house.

Fun little addition to any home, love that it does NOT look like just another piece of equipment sitting around, since you can add pictures etc. It is very each to setup and to control the other smart items in your home.

I use this as my alarm clock on my nightstand essentially. I have the larger Echo Show 8 as well. This one is significantly smaller, but is just the right size for a nightstand.

Have a few of these around the house. Sand stone was not my first choice but this color was part of a package deal so I can live with it. Like all my dots and shows, they work well and make life easier and most take more convenient.

This is the best thing since apple pie. I love this. Alexa is a great advantage to have. She plays music when I want her to, turns on my lights and surveillance camera. She will even tell you jokes if you ask her.

Great value. Bought with ring flood light camera. The features are unlimited what you can do by just voice commands. Perfect clock replacement for bedroom and easy access to view video cameras by bedside!

I have had a lot of fun with the echo show. I’m older and when I cant recall the whole name of a song I want played Alexa will remember for me. So easy to set an alarm or a reminder and even check the weather. Get 1 you won’t be disappointed

Bought this as part of a package deal along with select Ring devices for 10.00.... this was an amazing price for an even more excellent gift. Wish I could have bought more than one at that price, would have bought and gifted as many as allowed!

This device works great as a "modern" alarm clock. I do not take advantage of all the functionalities (for example, I do not use it to call or use the camera), but it works very well for alarms, displaying the time, and tracking the weather.

Got this as an extra after I purchased the eero WiFi system. I was impressed with the sound on the echo and the display is nice. Alexa is a nice feature and have synced it with some of my devices. Overall a nice little product.
