Love this so much. I love ordering Alexa around. "Alexa, turn on the floor lamp." "OK!" "Good girl." Wow. that sounded kinda gross. Anyway, I like the size, the fact that you can turn the display off, etc. No complaints so far (3 months later). Happy customer. Jazz hands!

Bought it during Black Friday sales. The echo show 5 is a good sized version than the rest (Echo Show 8 and 10) if one does not want it to stick out, visually, as much wherever it’s placed.the functions are responsive and the plus in purchasing this is the physical cover up of the camera lens if not in use. This ensures privacy from potential hackers.

It is very convenient that we can just say "Alexa show me front door" to view our ring video doorbell. Or "Alexa tell shark to start cleaning" for our smart vacuum. We also use it to make our grocery list, video calls, play music, look up recipes, turn on/off TV, reminders/timers and ask any questions that we may have. I love it and would recommend it to anyone!

I love the Echo Show 5! It’s easy to setup and compatible with so many products.

I love echo show that I upgraded to the 10" screen. I keep my 5" next to my bedroom night table. I connected my Ring video camera so if someone comes to my door I am able to hear them with my show. It's so much you can do. I use my 10" in the kitchen while I am cooking to watch Amazon prime movies or Hulu. Can't wait for them to add Netflix one day.

I mainly use the Echo Show 5 as a replacement for an alarm clock device. Of course, it does much more. I'm really impressed with the size and build quality of this device. It also produces nice sound quality and doesn't take up too much room on a nightstand. I like being able to view the feed from my Ring doorbell and Canary cameras from our bedroom. Overall a good smart home device to own.

I bought this item to be a "smart" bedside alarm clock. It works perfectly for that task. Set an alarm simply by asking Alexa to set it. Automatically resets correct time during daylight savings time changes. Shows not only current time, but the date, and outside temperature. Very easy setup, and access to the full array of Alexa commands.

I have one for my bedtime table and an 8” for my office. I like being able to ask Alexa to bring up my cameras or start the vacuum, turn off the lights etc. The audio quality is also better than expected. Occasionally it will turn on and just start playing a news story or something which can be annoying. The mute button and camera cover are nice additions.

Prefer these over a Dot just because of the screen. Feel like I get more use out of it because of that feature. Ideal for bedside, best alarm clock I’ve ever had. Great addition to a bathroom as well. You can see what the weather is like while you’re getting ready or playing music while showering. Does lack the sound quality of the larger Echo Shows

I love it and it has become e great tool for keeping me on track.

Can't say I am a big fan of having this thing listen to me all of the time, but it does tie in very well with my home Ring Video network that I now have setup. It does what it is supposed to do and was very easy to setup. I can either use my Ring app on my phone or iPad to see my Ring video cameras or I can use Alexa when I am sitting in my living room.

Good value for the size. Have the ability to manually turn off the camera.

We use ours when I travel and to keep in touch with my aging in-laws. Video is clear and smooth. Getting the weather forecast or news briefs is simple and quick.

For the most part if you have any Alexa integrations this is way better than just an echo speaker having a screen in general makes everything easier and also gives you more options for the ecosystem. The smallest size is great for bedrooms or offices anything else I would get the bigger one. Screen isn’t great but it does what it needs to. Speaker volume and clarity is what you expect for what you spent. Overall it’s a recommend

Actually;; pretty nice. I have some spots, dots and an Old Echo with Hub built in. The Video is Ok. Most Amazon devices have resolution that is OK. NOT GREAT. Mount that allows to tilt. $20 more . rip off. If you want the video you need the tilt. you want swivel too. $25 bucks (5 bucks more). The tilt is very much needed, Swivel? You can just turn the unit. Speaker? nicer than older small units. BTW I got 7 of these with Ring cameras. Amazon has made set up very easy if you already have an account and at least one device. That part was cool.

I got this as a bundle with the Ring Video Doorbell Pro and I am not disappointed. I already have Echo Dots and Firesticks, so I am used to Alexa. This works very good with Ring and can do many more things. The speaker on it is very loud to be such a small device. I love being able to drop in from my phone for a video call to see my kids. This is an awesome little device!
