Finally had time to set up my Amazon Echo 5 Smart Display with Alexa- Sandtone. Way easier than I thought to set up! Need to download some Family Photos on it. Plus get the right base, the salesman sold me an 8, I need a 5.

The show is the right size screen for most rooms and has a clear picture

This plays YouTube and amazon music. Helps with questions and answers and reference material. Reminders and games. I've had other echo devices. Seems this one is hard of hearing but actually not too bad some are sensitive to the wake word "Alexa"

I like our echo show 5. It does all the stuff a bigger echo show does but in a smaller package with dimmer lights good for a bedroom and alarm clock. highly recommend if you don't intend to use for your primary speaker but rather for simple use in a bedroom.

Easy to use and set up. Works well . I like you can talk live and put pictures on it .

Love this little hub. We have a main hub in the living room and made this an addition to the game room. Great to have to connect with music, see who is at the door, and drop in on a face to face with just asking Alexa.

Coming from Echo Spot, the sound quality of this device is way better! More bass and louder! I use it for everyday task, such as checking the weather and news, alarm clock. Having a bigger display than echo spot makes this device easier to use.

Came along with the purchase of our ring doorbell 3 awesome combination we have it in our kitchen and when someone is outside we can see whose outside, we can play music from our Amazon account or watch YouTube videos awesome companion for the ring

The Echo Show 5 came as a bonus to my purchase of a Ring security system. I did not know what to expect but I love it. It was simple to set up and very easy to use. Sits in the kitchen as a great resource for recipes, weather, news, entertainment, etc.

I would recommend this to a friend. I have two already and am very pleased with it. I can watch YouTube videos and can talk with loved ones. I can also hook up my camera feed to my security camera. this is a great upgrade from the echo dot

I bought a Ring Door Bell system and this was a bonus, with the system. I love the echo show. I'm able to control multiple electronic devices, get information on my Amazon purchases, set timers, get advice from Alexa on a multitude of subjects, etc.

I thought I'd never own one with the hacking that has taken place recently. On this one, you can turn the microphone and camera off. I also changed the default password so I'm more comfortable now with it's security. I love waking to music verses an annoying buzz.

absolutely love my alexa show. i’ve had many echo dots but as soon as i got the show, i knew i would never just get the dot again. having the screen adds a whole other level to the device

Awesome little Device, got it as a free gift for purchasing an arlo system online. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because of the fact it’s more invasive than it is helpful. Amazon claims you can make the device inactive and gives you options to turn off the mic and camera. Which I appreciated. What I didn’t appreciate was the fact when you turn the mic off it just is muting the device and the mic isn’t actually off, it’s just ignoring its wake commands. Like most home hubs, this thing isn’t to ease your life, it’s a very invasive data collection tool created by big tech to gather consumer data from your home without your knowledge. If you can get past that reality and are cautious about how integrated you allow it to be in your home it becomes a very cool device. Just be aware it’s not your friend or enemy, it’s a spy for big tech to collect data from you without your knowledge, that data includes who you are, who’s in your house, product names, programs watched, apps downloaded, user data, and a slew of other things that amazon can sell to Nielsen and other rating services. These devices are just a replacement for the old Nielsen’s “I’ll give you a dollar, if you let me see all the money you spend and send me pictures of the food in your fridge, appliances etc”. The device is essentially a IRS auditor for your home, except most don’t know that’s what they paid for!

So glad I purchased this! Good quality and very nice stereo sound! I like the size of it. It’s not too big or bulky! I have it sitting on my kitchen counter, I have it setup with my doorbell ring now I can see who’s at my door! Absolutely love it and I highly recommend it!

I owned the Echo Dot before, and this Echo Show help me a lot when I need to check the security CCTV video without turn on my cell phone app. also the sound quality much better than the Echo Dot. BTW, this is the best clock and alarm clock I ever have.

I recently purchased echo show 5. It has Reasonable smart display with decent audio, a nice screen and many features. It has physical camera shutter and excellent video-call quality. Door bell integration is an added advantage. It has all the functions I dreamed.

I really like this Echo Show 5. I listen to various music and it gets it to me fine. The volume control is great - just telling it to be higher or lower. The video quality is quite good also. It has a lot of other features which I have yet to explore.

Good product at a good price, love this size and works good as an alarm clock
