I recently purchased the Echo Show 8, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This versatile and powerful smart display has quickly become an indispensable part of my daily routine. With its impressive features and seamless integration with my smart home devices, the Echo Show 8 deserves a well-earned 5-star rating.

East to set up. Love the fact that i can see my Wyze cameras at anytime. Beat bang for your buck in my opinion. Sounds is good for the size. Would buy more for other rooms soon.

Better Alexa screen size, good sound quality and never get tired of asking her to dim a light or turn something on and it not happen, but let a tv show catch her attention and she happily will start just reading a book for you, these things are a bundle of laughs, good screen size for a large room and now it even tries to follow you around on a video call, so creepy but neat too

Best Alexa device. I have a number of Alexa but this not only gives me information, but shows me movies, ring doorbell connections, weather for the week, games, and so much more. The best thing is now I'm able to talk with my daughter in another state and see her while we talk!! I think this is one of the smartest devices I have.

Love it! It is so handy, and multi purpose. When im in the kitchen/dining room/living room area i can talk to someone in the phone they can even see me in that big of a space if a video call thats how good the camera is and wide of a viewing area it picks up. I have my blink door bell connected to it, so it acts as the doorbell, and i can also see who is at the door on it. There is much more it does, but those are some big key points

Being a tech person, this is one of the best gift I have received I found this to be a great item. I can receive calls, see who is at my door, listen to music and still more I have to learn what all it can do. I did learn I can tell Alexis to play movies either on the device or on my television.

Large screen and clear picture. Readable, don’t need my glasses

Overall this is a great device. The screen is HD, the sound is very good for it's size , maybe a ltl too much bass as the high's are not so crisp. I have ring cameras and if one goes off I like how it pop's up the live camera view on the screen. I bought the stand with it makes it nice & sits level now. My only complaint is the mic. Not very responsive at all. Sometimes have to say Alexa commands twice. I also have two of the Gen5 which have amazing mic's. If you don't need the video screen the Gen5's give great performance as well.

Got this for our kitchen to replace a Echo, My wife uses it for cooking and reminders, the screen makes Alexa even more help full, also gives news, weather, pictures right on the screen, sound from speakers is also great

Great way to keep in touch and see family and friends, assuming they have an Amazon show of some sort. I am not crazy about it following people around I wish there was a way to turn that off. That being said it is easy to set up, easy to use will only store 10 contacts for voice auto dial so I don't know if it will do more than that and or how I could make that happen. Make sure to get a stand it gives the device a lot more flexibility making it movable on the base so it doesn't matter as much where you place it as long as it isn't too far away.

Love it! The sound is as good as any Bluetooth speaker and the screen is awesome to display photos of family. I use in the kitchen and can watch YouTube videos fo recipes, catch up on the news and so much more. It is really a game changer and great purchase!

Nice size screen and very easy to use, had to buy another

I acquired an Echo Show when they first released all the way back in 2017 and it has always just worked and done what I’ve needed to do. No complaints, it still does what I didn’t think it could still do in 2024. It works just fine! I love it! So why did I purchase a newer generation? Well because the sale price got me and I was also curious to see how much has changed with the newer model versus the first edition. The quality and longevity remains the same! The newer one has an updated screen, improved speakers and faster processing. The first one I still use because it doesn’t perform like a dinosaur. The point is that I feel you can buy any of the Echo Show models and they will do what you need them to do for years!

I gave this to my younger sister who is learning disabled. She loves listening to music and singing along. It is so simple for her to use and she loves that the lyrics scroll along during the song.

I really enjoy my Echo Show. It is helpful and entertaining. I can also show off some of my pictures on it. Fun gadget.

This love Echo Show 8. The size is perfect for the kitchen, from the music to the whatever questions I may have while cooking. It me a while to be able to tie it in with all my other Echo Dots, but once I did I have a complete home surround system

The echo show 8 works great having a screen so you can see what you have going on, face-timing, security cam footage or most anything you can think of that has to do with Alexa. The screen is especially good for the hearing impaired, since you can see what Alexa is trying to tell you with reminders, etc. that you can read.

It is really the best our there compared to other models. Sound quality is good. The screen is good but could be better. I am let down by the bulky charger and the glitches on alexa software. Sometimes Alexa has no control over the music playing. I ask it to pause, but it does not respond. This also happens when I open YouTube on the silk browser and if music is playing in background Alexa loses control on the music and does not pause. The only way to stop it is disconnecting power to Alexa.

This is really a lot better than the show 8. The screen is the just the right size for a kitchen or living room device. The sound is pretty good not perfect by far but a lot better than the show five.
