My Mom and sister were in Michigan and mom got ALS so i purchase one for my sister, mom and I. Mom would have been able to call out and call us if there was an emergency before i arrived to be her care giver. I gave moms to my nephew after she passed last year. Its nice being able to facetime easily with my family while i live in California. I now often use mine to ring my cell phone because my house eats it and i need assistance finding it. Echo also is connected to my ring doorbell camera and that makes things safer around here.

This is a decent product but I did not liked the viewing angle. When it is resting on the desk its display is slanted backwards and when you light up the room it will display a glare making it uncomfortable to view videos. This is what I noticed when watching youtube videos (others may have different opinion) But the sound and other functions are really good. I hope it would also come with a bettery backup as it only works when it’s plugged in. Unfortunately I returned it for these reasons.

Easy to set up and use. Great video and sound quality for background music (laud enough for large living area.) Alexa has her faults, but is mostly spot on and learns your favorites. So worth the price if you use the video for learning or want to see the words of your favorite song.

Just started using amazon products in our new house and this echo show is great, if you have ring doorbell cameras etc itll notify you and show you on the screen, it like a mini tv in your living room or kitchen. I enjoy having it show pictures our cameras and recipes.

My first smart product from Amazon, happy overall, esay to use, easy to navigate. I have security cameras at home and it is cool that you can ask alexa to show any camera on your Echo, also i can watch YouTube or anything from the apps that Alexa has , i would recommend this product if you want a samst clock with all the futures.

Speakers on this thing are surprisingly good. They blow the Google nest hub (smaller one) out of the water for the price you pay. Alexa has also been more reliable for my smart home devices as well.

Convinient to use with our outdoor/doorbell secutity camera to get voice alerts when the camera catches motions as well as listening to radio over. Put it on Echo stand bought seperately and it looks pretty and neat. Connecting with home security app was fairly easy, too.

The echo show 8 is so good! I use it to listen to music and play games while i’m cooking, washing dishes, or cleaning. I didn’t think i’d use it as much as I do, but it’s great! Well worth the money

Great Price! Love that it shows date, time, and temperature. Acts as a camera, plays music, gives recipes. You can ask Alexa just about anything. Perfect size.

The echo 8 is owsom love how it work plays music sound is owsome and hooked to my ring cameras with ease and i leave reminder to myself all the time on it just the other day i had it remind me to go and flip the steaks lol

I had the Gen1 version of this product and wow! Amazon has done a fantastic job at updating these devices with so many more features since then. I love the crisp video and the size of the screen. I use this to view my Arlo security cameras all the time. Love it!

Got this so we could talk to our grandson. Sound is pretty good. Easy to use, lots of features and things to find useful. Well worth the price.

I thought for sure I was wasting my money but as it turns out Alexa is something I can’t live without. In just a few short weeks I have my photos as a picture frame, always have my alarms set, remembering is a thing of the past and she always has my favorite songs playing. I don’t know how I lived without her! Stop listening to that old clock radio for your news and let Alexa fill you in.

Very friendly and responsive, I like the big screen and the sound quality. Definitely better than the echo dot, more convenient. When I use Amazon Music, on the screen appears the lyrics of the song, love it.

We have had this for about a month now and we really like it. We got 3 of them 1 for kitchen and 2 for bedrooms and have loved having them. The 8" is the perfect size for bedroom for alarm clock and our kitchen one has the stand which I love. It takes some getting used to adding skills that you want your device to do but once you figure everything out it's great. From recipes, shopping list, reminders, security + doorbell cams, weather, sports news, alarm clocks, music, podcasts...just to name a few. We are very happy with our purchase.

I really enjoy my Echo Show. It is helpful and entertaining. I can also show off some of my pictures on it. Fun gadget.

I have mine set up in the kutchen and its super useful as far as timers, reminders, playing music, checking the weather, and also seeing my front door camera. Definitely recommend

Brought this one in place of the smaller one better screen size. Love that can be used to listen to music. Easily set up to connect to my cameras and lets me in when someone is near the door.
