Its great at the kitchen, can follow my favorite recipes and listen my music or even watch my shows in it while i sit in my kitchen island

Where this version excells is the camera. It is a noticeable difference. I have checked out the drop in feature and the camera is very clear. It can be used to communcate to someone or just to check in on your room.

Fun and usefull gadget. Allows me to talk to person at my front door. Play music on demand and is basically a voice activated wikepedia. Well worth the purchase.

The size and speakers are good. I love it controls my entire house, cameras, air, garage and other things.

I absoltely love this, way more then I thought I would. I just ordered a battery base because I find myself wanting to take it with me from room to room and even outside. Its nice!!

I like it since it was for the kitchen and i can look up cooking stuff, listen to music without having to touch the screen. It does tempt to freeze and i have to open up the thing im listening to which is why the minus one star.

I love this echo show 8 easy setup. I enjoy listening to all sorts of music stations and also can answer my door without getting up

Awesome product. I lost my first one during a move, a box disappeared so I bought another one. I love the alarm feature, the weather, clock, the fact that I can ask Alexa to play any song for me that I want and with the camera I can see my living room when I'm away.

We loved it so much, we bought another one. Sound quality is great for music. We enjoy the hands free snoozing. The possibilities are endless. Planning to get one for every room eventually.

I really like the Echo Show 8. A few little bugs (I try to bring up security camera views and it never opens them all at the same time) and it is slower to respond than my Echo Dot. Many times I will have to speak twice before I get a response. I also have had to look online for how to fix some issues... it comes preset to have a lot of unnecessary crap pop up on the screen frequently (like suggestions, amazon related items, and other ridiculous tips and comments I doubt anyone cares about). Learned how to suppress those things pretty well so all I see is the essentials (to me). I have NOT been able to get it to make calls to friends/family with Echo Show devices like it is supposed to. Have followed the instructions perfectly but so far no success. For that reason I am giving it 4 stars and not 5.

Having alittle trouble setting it up but I'm still amazed at this product for the price.

Bought one to replace an older unit. Love the bigger screen and better sound.

So far I love this Echo. It's so awesome and nice to have around. I have it in my kitchen and I'm abke to easily follow along to cooking tutorials or just play music. I'm even able to watch movies and shows from Hulu on it!

Love the size of the screen. Connects to my Ring so i can see who is at my door. Speaker is great. Can use it to spy on my husband in the other room. ;)

I have now had this for years and use it daily i wakes me up in the morning

I love this product so I gave a unit to my parents and they love it as well. Very east you use and clear quality of picture and sound. We had the smaller screen before and I love this one much better.
