Sounds really good and the bigger screen helps you see more without having scroll down

Amazing gadget for sure. I’m constantly using it, it listens great and understands everything I ask, my 4 year old loves it too, constantly asking Alexa to show her pictures of animals.

It's great for a news and weather feed, as well as listening to music (with lyrics). The camera comes in handy as well.

We have several Alexa devices throughout our home, absolutely love the 3rd generation and now we absolutely love the show 8. We listen to music a lot and thats why we like 3rd gen bc of speaker and base, and this one is equally good with speaker, base and my husband calls me from his job in the morning to make sure im up, wonderful for my alarm bc he calls with video! We bought a show 5, but too small, we bought this originally for a clock and to sit on the dresser. However, it proves to be useful for way more. We love it, its worth ever cent!

The display is about the right size, the picture quality is really good. The performance is fast while doing whats its supposed to do

The larger Echo Show allows for a useful size of watching multiple Ring cameras on one screen and provides a less cluttered look as it scrolls with time, date and weather information. The speaker is also better than on the smaller Echo Show.

This is my fifth Alexa speaker but the first with a screen. It works well and I like that we can view and listen in on the dogs while we are away. The only thing that I wish was better is the recipe selection through Alexa is very limited especially for vegan ones. It would also be nice if you could download your own recipes into the system and then use them on the screen while cooking.

I use the the Echo 8 for everything from listening to music to watching videos, the speaker in this device is pretty decent. I would definitely recommend this product and would buy again.

I also have Apple HomePods (the OG ones) and they, in my opinion, set the bar for audio quality. This is why I keep them around. However, Alexa is a far more capable voice assistant as the Alexa compatibility list is leagues better than HomeKit. I love that it has a screen to show you information. I havent used the csmera as of yet (I keep it shuttered) but the video and audio quality are quite good. Its nowwhere near my HomePods (id say Echo Studio gets closer, but not quite there even still). But yiu just cant beat it for the value.

No matter what I am doing in the house, I like to able to see who is at the front door as soon as possible. Usually, my first warning comes from my Ring Chime Pro which I really rely on. I have Amazon Echo Show in almosr every room in my home. When the Chime Pro rings, I just ask Alexa, "Who's at the front door". Within seconds, Echo Show switches to the front door & I can see what or who is there. The combination of Ring Door Bell, Ring Chime, & Echo Show display is the perfect way to watch what's going on for security.

I love this echo show, it has good screen size and the speakers have great sound quality and are super loud

I placed it at my wife’s aunts house she’s older and wasn’t happy because she couldn’t here the door bell to good she has a ring and wasn’t doing it so we got it for her and she was like oh ok until we showed her we can connect it to her ring and she placed it were she could see who was ringing her doorbell and also for emergencies just in case she needs help Or needs to call for help

We upgraded from an older version of the Echo Show for the kitchen. The improvements are great. The screen is crisper, the speed faster, the form is a nice size and shape.
