Posted .Hello WilliamL! Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on this device! This device does not have an officially supported YouTube app or Skill. However, you can still access it via Alexa through the Amazon Silk web browser. Netflix is definitely a Skill (what we call apps for Alexa) that is available for use with this device amongst many others though. Many of these are not natively downloaded to it and may need to be enabled and logged in to but once you do that, you can use Skills like Netflix with your voice and touch screen. The easiest way to start this is by saying "Alexa, launch Netflix." Once you do this, just follow the prompts and log in with your Netflix account and then you'll be up and running! You can try this with a wide range of different Skills that are available. I hope this helps enhance your experience so you can enjoy your Echo Show 8 to the fullest!
