Possible problem with Alaexa app or Amazon account. Lots of time on phone with different specialists only to be told they will get back in 3-5 days which have come and gone. Menu options seem illogical.

I have just main complain; we have the Echo Show 10 in our Kitchen area and the Show 8 in our bedroom and when we try to video/drop in there is a huge lag. This is very annoying to say the least. We now mainly use it as a clock and for quick tips, i.e daily weather and news.

More counter space than we could sacrifice. And having the screen attempt to locate and or follow was a bit annoying.

I'm sorry to hear of the difficulty you are having with your Echo Show 8 device.
If you haven't already done so, restart the unit. If you've connected to a Bluetooth speaker at any point, try saying "Alexa, disconnect". If you have a 1st gen unit, check that nothing is plugged into the 3.5mm audio port on the rear.
