I purchased 3 of these for my family residing in different locations to use for video calling. The video quality is pixilated and not super sharp. Like quality from technology 10 years ago. Very disappointing. All of us have super fast internet speeds with strong wifi. Video calling using other devices (tablets, laptops and phones) on Wifi from these locations using Teams, Whatsapp and Zoom are super clear. I think Amazon is throttling bandwith for video calls on these devices.

I bought as a surprise this for my husband. He had experienced one at his grandson's home and was enthralled. He had not even known about Alexa. He uses it all the time asking questions and playing music. We all enjoy it. I would not have wanted one without a screen. Making video calls and displaying pictures is a plus for this type. What surprised me is how it interacts with my iPhone, At some point, I'll connect to turn on some things and connect with the Ring doorbell. I was happy to find it at Best Buy for half the price elsewhere. Great little addition to our home!

This stupid thing has already died since I bought it. I received this item in May 2022 and as of December 20th the tablet does not display anything. I don't recommend it.

Can’t hear 75% of commands the first time, lags and shuts off randomly, stops playing music without being told to, just a pain to use.

Is nice product and easy to set up and use I like the sound in nice quality

Hung time to time and need to reboot everyday once. Sometime Alexa don’t respond.

Purchased for gift for grandparents. They didnt get it set up until after return date. Speaker doesnt worke:(

I don’t like it because it’s too small, and there is no way to grab it on the wall.

Great device! I use this as a crib tv for my toddler to play nursery rhymes or his favorite cartoons while he’s in his crib by placing it right outside of the bed on a small table. I love being able to voice control everything and even dropping in to check on baby when I feel like it

This thing can be just a tiny bit quirky at times, but in a way that's cute. Why did I wait so long? Now I wish I'd bought 2 (it was a super good buy at about $74 that day), but I'm really happy I finally jumped and got one.Nice Features..surprisingly the sound quality is also great !!!

I love these Echo Show products. I have two of them and bought one for my daughter during the pandemic and it was the best way to communicate - much better than Facetime. There are many features, but you have to take the time to explore and find what works for you. I recommend!

Very good product. Had a bit of trouble connecting my smart lights to the device and setting up my "routines". But after some tinkering, figured it out and now I love using it.

Great item keeps me in the know on 100's of useful tidbits also keeps my appointments, photos and my smart items (tv, smart lights, even my motorized blinds) love,love,love it

The greatest gadget I use it in my kitchen reading recipes, watching movies, listening to music or books. I love this so much I bought two more for my kids houses.

I have Google home devices in the house and love them. I wanted a smart alarm clock and wanted something different than Google and went for the Echo Show 8 and I love Alexa. The display is great for watching videos and the sound is great. I really like it!
