I actually kept it to listen to music and watch videos...

The Echo Show 8 is absolutely compatible with Blink and Ring doorbells as well as other Alexa enabled devices in your home. You must like all smart devices you are wishing to use in the Alexa app in order to have an optimal experience.

So far have used it for video calls, timers, and music. Have not synced the cameras yet, but I don't expect that to be an issue.
