This was a great purchase; it enhances my echo dots with Alexa+. I did not purchase the stand, the Echo Show 8 works greats without it.

Use it everyday for things like listening to podcasts and music. Super easy

Somewhat to me surprise, I am really enjoying this. I decided to add it after successfully setting up an Echo 3rd generation Hub and discovering it worked with some light bulbs I got. The hardest part for me was getting used to using Alexa - somehow I had never gotten around to using it. The speaker on this Show 8 3rd generation is actually not bad, and I have been listening to music more than I would have predicted. It also does well controlling a set of smart plugs and two light bulbs in the same room, as well as some plugs and lights in another room.

Bought for my 96-year old Dad and he loved the display of family photos and the ability to get all his news and information by simply asking Alexa.

I’m very happy with my new Alexa+!! The voice I programmed sounds so casual, as if I’m speaking to an actual person. The sound quality is great! I absolutely love it.

Excellent Device and companion in Home. Large screen would flash all the memories infront of eyes

This is my third Echo Show. I have picked up a new version every time they have been released. Although subtle, the 3rd generation made sense for me. 3rd Gen has been designed and looks a little more stylish. There is a faster processor so although the resolution is the same(1280x800), the picture seems slightly better. Response time from Alexa is also quicker Audio is improved with spatial audio and room analysis. I will testify, the sound is much clearer, even when listening to voice. Lastly, for those of you who like to control your smart home, Zigbee hub is included. The big benefit compared to prior iterations, is you are not limited strictly to amazon devices. Any manufacturer who builds smart home items that follow the Zigbee protocol will now work with the Show. Although slightly costlier, for me, the Amazon Show is worth it.

Alexa echo show 8 3r gen, i love how easy You can handle your day to day task's, i love the Big screen to watch my climate forecast or even for listening for music and reading the lyrics

Awesome device. I was trying to upgrade from the echo show 5 that I got in 2021. And this echo show is fantastic. 10/10 recommend if you are trying to upgrade.

We had one of these before and wanted another one. This is so great. We love how you can do so much with it. You can set alarms check weathers and buy things off amazon. It is great. Just Love IT

Alexa is fun! Good sound and image Best buy is always a good choice

The size is decent. It allows you to usw the screen for simple tasks but the voice recognition alone is very useful.

Works great with our ring doorbell so we can see and speak to whomever is at the front door without having to get up. Don’t have to open the front door to unwanted visitors. Also having access to information is a big plus.

I find this to be useful for so many things. Having the video display adds to the many possibilities of how one can use this product. I really like this product and enjoy exploring all it can do to enhance my life.
