Great but not always.

I have to activate it when I want information. It is a problem sometimes. I would also like it better if the clock feature and the weather feature were larger.

My previous Alexa was 3 years older and its microphones were far better than this new 9 inch model. Interface is lagging worse as well….honestly Amazon put more ram into your Alexa’s . It’s embarrassing .

I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed with the microphone performance and interface lag compared to your previous device. To address these issues, ensure your Echo Show has a strong internet connection, restart the device by unplugging it for 30 seconds, check that software is updated through Settings > Device Options > Check for Software Updates, adjust microphone sensitivity or reposition the device away from walls or noise sources, and consider a factory reset if performance doesn't improve. Closing background processes by disabling unused features like Drop In may also help reduce lag. I understand your frustration with the hardware performance, and your feedback about processing power expectations is valuable for product development. Thank you for sharing your feedback!
Refund surprise

Initiated a return and went to the store hoping for a successful return and refund so i can start another purchase for the same item. To my surprise the store immediately gave me another device and sent me off happily. The item has been working fine since then. So happy with the overall experience!!
