My previous Alexa was 3 years older and its microphones were far better than this new 9 inch model. Interface is lagging worse as well….honestly Amazon put more ram into your Alexa’s . It’s embarrassing .

I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed with the microphone performance and interface lag compared to your previous device. To address these issues, ensure your Echo Show has a strong internet connection, restart the device by unplugging it for 30 seconds, check that software is updated through Settings > Device Options > Check for Software Updates, adjust microphone sensitivity or reposition the device away from walls or noise sources, and consider a factory reset if performance doesn't improve. Closing background processes by disabling unused features like Drop In may also help reduce lag. When is set up correctly and you have agood set of cameras, you can watch all the cameras thru the device, you can reach "Alexa" and even buy from Amazon by just talking to the device. Amazing.
