My previous Alexa was 3 years older and its microphones were far better than this new 9 inch model. Interface is lagging worse as well….honestly Amazon put more ram into your Alexa’s . It’s embarrassing .

To address these issues, ensure your Echo Show has a strong internet connection, restart the device by unplugging it for 30 seconds, check that software is updated through Settings > Device Options > Check for Software Updates, adjust microphone sensitivity or reposition the device away from walls or noise sources, and consider a factory reset if performance doesn't improve. Closing background processes by disabling unused features like Drop In may also help reduce lag. It does walk you through once plugged in but I would have preferred a manual with instructions to go along with it. Had some questions concerning how the camera works and had to go on line to figure it out. All and All its fun and works to my liking. I would recommend it to a friend.
