The Echo Show 8 is a versatile device with a nice sized display and good sound. The dim night mode is a little bright for use as an alarm clock, but still ok. I link to SiriusXM to wake to music and display photos from Amazon.

I had bought the small echo realized it was to small. Decided to get the echo show 8 wow!! This thing is amazing clear picture and sound.

Easy to set up, love the camera shutter feature for privacy, music sounds great from the speaker all things considered, nice resolution screen.

Nothing much to say other than saying perfect for all especially the speaker built in it sounds great.

Love the large size. There are so many awesome things to do on it. I’m sure I have a lot to learn and will enjoy it for along time.

It has simplified my life. I absolutely love it. I love the multiple alarms, sound quality, and having all of my music streaming services combines.

Unlike the first generation Echo Show, the picture fills virtually the entire face of the unit. Has a camera privacy feature which means that if you use it to place a phone call, you can easily control whether the recipient can see you or not. The sound is okay for music but not great.

love it-can see who is at the door or bring up recipes, play music and it will even tell me which song is playing on my favorites.

Very easy to use and able to perform numerous functions such as telling the weather forecast, setting a kitchen timer, playing music, etc

I tried the 5" which was too small so I switched to this the 8". I like this one. Haven't had a chance to watch much on it. Mainly have used it so far to listen to music and as an alarm. As we move into a slower season I plan to explore its other features.

Great screen. Alexa able to watch movies, music and tell me up to date news. Would definitely recommend 8inch for better clarity.

We have both this and the 5. while the 5 is easy to port and does not take up much counter space, this screen is great and easy to see from far away.

I find it to be handy a little bit of a process to set up and get fully set up when it comes to all the ins and outs and it took some time but that’s to be expected. Ready right out of box and working easy if you just want functioning and not every possible feature going.

A big improvement over the older model show. We like the bigger display and find it helpful with news, weather, recipes and general information

Awesome for the price ! Love it do much I wanted to buy everybody this for Christmas . Limited by the Covid thing financially .

I love this size screen better than my Echo show 5. I like that it can hear me when I whisper to it. It’s a very useful device.
