The Echo Show 8 is a versatile device with a nice sized display and good sound. The dim night mode is a little bright for use as an alarm clock, but still ok. I link to SiriusXM to wake to music and display photos from Amazon.

The best purchase I did all year. I purchased two. The clock is a decent size and I am able to play music and get updates on it.

How did i ever live without this? I use it 24/7, yes - even while I am sleeping (love sleeping to thunder storm sounds)

The Echo Show 8 is another Alexa supported device that streams the news, displays the weather forecast, takes pictures, plays music, is an alarm clock and so much more. I would prefer if the time display was larger similar to the Echo Show 5 but it is still a great smart display.

I've decided to buy this instead of the new Echo Show 10 for several reasons: -- On sale for $74.99 -- Echo Show 5 and 8 still have a 3.5mm jack while the new Echo Show didn't have this at all which was a deal breaker for me -- The tracking motion on the new Echo Show 10 is relative new and has its own problems -- Bigger screen than the Echo Show 5's screen -- The new Echo Show 10 has the same screen size as Echo Show 8 -- Echo Show 8's features are more than enough to suit my needs

I purchased these as a set of Xmas gifts for family. The music/sound is really good. The picture resolution works really well also.

Works great, love how I can use it with my ring doorbell, it also allows you to make phone calls without using your phone near by.

My son is going to the Airforce so we purchased these for the family so when we talk, we can see each other. My parents love it.

A must for home and office. I use it every day for music, news, reminders and to see photos during the day.

Saw this on TV and bought it as a gift exchange. Ended up with it at the end of the exchange and love the quality of the video. Easy to set up.

I loved playing music on it as it shows the lyrics to sing along. The speakers were loud and clear while playing music on it. I purchased it for my mom so I didn’t have it longer than 2 days as I had to set it up for her. I’m not sure how I feel about the video Chat quality and how the video chat works. It was a challenge getting Skype on it. Not sure why this was as we entered information correctly. I will edit review later to allow my mom time to get adjusted to using it. Im debating on getting one, but am hesitant as it’s a little bulkier than I pictured and you can’t play Netflix or YouTube on it. Overall it’s a neat device and would recommend one if you have another family member who has one and have other smart devices to connect to it.

This is such a fun technical device. Shows how to make a recipe, plays videos, plays songs, plays games. Seems to be no limit

Not sure how to get the Blink doorbell to show the footage on here but it's working so far.

Great device, especially if you have any Surveillance systems or Wi-Fi plugs to program to. Screen is large enough for the eye.
