As generally a big fan of Apple and their products this is one area they have been left in the dust. Having a screen/speaker combo vs just a speaker is game changing. Plus I find that Alexa is a touch better at understanding commands vs Siri. Sound quality is fair for music. I don’t use the camera so this model was perfect vs the updated version (less expensive too). Linking devices to Alexa is a breeze (I.e. ring cams, lights, etc.). Liked it so much bought a couple as Xmas gifts.

Love this Alexa. I had already purchased the smaller Dots when they first came out. I watch my shows on it while doing laundry!

A echo is listening to all the lyrics that put on the screen as i sing my lungs out definitely a helper in the kitchen.

Purchased for my mother for her birthday. She loves it for listening to music while cooking in the kitchen and using the apps

Very pleased and satisfied with my Echo Show 8! The sound quality (compared to older Dots) blows me away. Also enjoy the bigger screen for viewing my cams. It doesn't look out of place in the living room on side table & am glad I got the 8 instead of the 5 so it's easier to see what's on the screen when not up close. Wish I had a reason to have more of these! Thanks Best Buy for the sale price (and the $5 Blink to go along with it)!

Bought this for our loft area and it's a great size for the room. Plus we can video call from it and watch movies. The sound is really good too.,

This is the perfect size out of all the Echo Show's imo. I have two other EchoShow5s and I like having them on my nightstand and office. I placed this EchoShow8 in the kitchen and it has been the perfect compliment to our kitchen. The sound quality is obviously much better than the smaller shows, and the way that I have mine positioned in a corner the sound echos off of the backsplash to make this speaker sound even louder. When this product is on sale it's a no brainer to buy one! I got mine for 79.99 on sale.

I love this 8" Echo Show. The sound is better than the standard Echo, and the screen is plenty large to watch videos and check out who/what is at the front or back door via our Ring cameras from the comfort of the kitchen. I should have bought a couple more when they were on sale! I have multiple 5" Shows, and they are a good size for most bathrooms (see the weather, etc.), but I would like a larger one in my bathroom. I also appreciate how easy it is to slide the cover so that the camera is nonfunctional.

Being able to see what song you're listening to, and (sometimes) being able to view the lyrics, makes this much better than a regular Echo.

I love my alexa! It works with many of my lights at home and overall sound quality and image is amazing!

Great for my purposes... I video talk to my wife in the living room while I am in the man cave... no more yelling "Hey, Supper is Ready!... I can watch football on my TV and a different game on Echo Show at the same time... I can play music through the entire house... I can view movies on Amazon Prime... I can control my TV and other smart devices... and the list goes on and on... had to buy 3 just because

I had one echo dot as a test to see how they worked. I liked it so I decided to get the Echo Show 8. It was very simple to setup. It does most of the work for you since I already the Dot and the app. This product has very good sound and I listen to Pandora on it a lot. I put it in my kitchen and use it for recipes and timers etc. It is easier to tell Alexa to set the timer than for me to set it manually on the stove.

It was easy to set up and start using. The screen is just the right size for me, as well as the price. Listening to music on it isn't bad either.

We purchased this to replace an Echo Show 5 because the small screen was hard to read in a fair sized room. The size makes a difference. It also clearly displays videos. Additionally, when you make text-based requests, more information appear on the screen. It works well and the speakers are adequate though I now have it hooked up to better external speakers via the audio output. You can also do this via bluetooth. Amazon discounts for this product occur fairly frequently. That makes this purchase well worth the money.

Having the screen to review prompts is night and day over the voice echo products. Great size, great quality. Love that I can interact with it, on the touch screen, to execute smart home commands. That being said, the only thing I have a slight issue with is the time it takes to go back to the home screen after a smart home command. It may be a setting that I can change, but right now it lingers on the visual prompt of the command for too long before returning to the home screen. Other than that, loving every second with it - great purchase.

Love the large screen (compared to using my phone, 6.5"X3"). Very clear picture and quick response to commands like "Show me the front door". It is difficult to figure out how to place a video call from and to the unit. I purchased 2 units at the same time and had no problem downloading photos onto mine but cannot get photos to scroll on the one I bought my mom. It would be helpful if there was a voice prompted walkthrough set-up option. Overall, great unit with large enough screen to watch video clips, keep up with the news or make video calls. The sound from the speakers is amazing for its size. Great quality sound! Comparing the size of the screens between the 6", 8" and 10" units, the 8 was the best value for my money. The 6 was the same as a cell phone size and the cost of the 10" was too much more for the small difference in size.

Great size display for the family to use and see others on the screen. Love how it shows examples to what can be asked.

Love my echo show. I can listen to music while cooking and cleaning and the base on this thing is amazing. Alexa has become my new best friend. She tells jokes, handles my TV, I can Duo my grandkids, she makes my lists for me, set to reminders. I really don’t think there’s anything that she can’t do! I tell her good morning every morning and she tells me what the day is going to be like you can ask her the weather, and when you tell her good night she always has something sweet to say. Really is my new bff
