I like the ability to set routines like "goodnight", which turns off all the lights (but turns on the hallway light to allow me to get to my bedroom). It also tells me when a amazon package arrives, so it doesn't sit on the porch when the drivers dont ring the doorbell.

Echo Show 8 very glad I chose this

Words cannot express how fast you get hooked on this gadget. The screen is clear and fun to use. I've used it for phone calls, YouTube videos, I listen to my favorite iHeart radio station, all of this by simply asking Alexa to do them. I often use it for reminders and I've linked my calendar to it. I'm still a rookie but so far it's great.
