Im in love with my echo show, the size and all the functions you can do on it, I connect my cameras my doorbell and plugs I’m just happy!! I was doubt between 5 and 8 because the size, but at the end got the 8 for the quality the screen

I have the Amazon Echo Show 5 and decided to upgrade to the Show 8. I made a good choice, the sound is awesome and the screen is bigger. I have my Blink security camera system connected to the show 8. It works perfectly as advertised. I'm buying another Show 8 for my garage.

Our family loves our Echo! We use it while in the kitchen or just walking through the house to listen to music or ask random questions or weather related ones that come to mind. Easy to use and matches our appliances.

Alexa...drop in on mom. We bought this for an elderly relative so we can call or drop in and check on them. So far it has worked great and she even has asked Alexa a few questions. My only negative is they should include the stand and not charge extra for it.

I was searching for an Alexa product but not sure which one was right for us. The sound quality on this speaker is above my expectations!! Good bass clear perfect for what I needed and the video screen is exactly the size I needed the other one would have been too small!! Thanks Amazon and Best Buy!!

Love this item. Wonderful sound for playing music and great for making video calls. The screen is just the right size to not be obtrusive on your counter, yet large enough to see. I like that the time and temp shows all the time also. It is a very nice little gadget!

Love my Amazon Alexa Echo show 8! So easy to set up and once it is, everything else is made easy! We set timers and alarms, request all kinds of info, play music, Alexa really does many things ... and the quality of sound when we use it to play music is excellent!!

I have several echo devices around my home and I purchased this one to replace the standard echo in my office. I can make video calls, watch movies, and listen to music while working at my desk. It is also a great hands free calculator when needing quick calculations.

Great was wondering whether to get this or the 2nd gen but I hardly use it for video calls so it was a great deal! Like the screen and using Alexa for recipes or setting timers just works. Also the speakers sound great for music.

The screen size is perfect for video chatting with family. This is especially nice with my father in a retirement community who is not allowed visitors due to the COVID-19 outbreak. I can talk with him and we can see each other. I have an Alexa in almost every room.

We use the Echo Show to communicate with my aging father in-law. Bought the 8” as an upgrade to the 5” so my wife could leave th e 5” at her office. We love them and the 8” has much improved sound in addition to a bigger screen. Alexa is also MUCH smarter than Siri.

This is our second Echo Show, and it was super easy to set-up. The video picture quality is very good. It has a very effective microphone that can pick up voices across the room. The AI is high quality, it understands what you’re asking and the skill list has something for everyone.

Overall it is great! I got it to put under my living room TV. Easy to see the screen pretty well from about 12 feet to the couch. Very loud and good bass for what it is. Setup was easy and I like that I can have it cycle through my personal photos.

So easy to use and attractive at the same time. Size is great. Easy to talk to and see people at the end. I use it mostly to talk but do ask Alexa questions or have her update me on the news or weather. I like that I can turn the camera and microphone off so Alexa can’t eavesdrop.

So far it’s great. We have listened to Christmas music all season on it. Its in our kitchen and I have used it to look up recipes. My son has also used it to call me when he was home with his older sisters. He loved it so much we got him a 5 inch one for his room.

Great for long distance communication and keeping in touch. Easy to use

I got this to use as an alarm clock in the bedroom. It currently sits on the nightstand beside my bed, and it works great. It was easy to set up, and a lot of fun to play with. The image is really nice, and its an excellent Alexa device that works very well with my Echo's for music around the house. The real standout with this though is the sound. The sound, imo, is simply incredible. Its deep, and loud, and actually reverberates through the floor when the volume is up high enough. Setting an alarm with the Echo Show and having the volume turned up is the kind of thing that could wake up just about anyone, even someone like my wife who normally can't wake up to sound alone. This was an excellent purchase, and I love it.

This is definitely a life saver for me. I purchased this for my 6 year old son and while I am at work I can call him to check up on him and help him with his homework. He enjoys asking Alexa for help and listening to music. I absolutely love everything about Alexa.

Best item to have to get help on just about anything on this planet, not only it knows everything but also gives you free music, videos (via YouTube) and can control all compatible smart devices within your household such as surveillance cameras, garden sprinklers, lights, etc. Get it....!

Got this on sale and for $65 it was more than worth it, mainly to talk to and see our daughter and grandkids through the video chat. Annoyed that the stand is extra money though. Also helps if you are already vested, or want to start into the Amazon ecosystem.
