I replaced a show 5 with this version in our living room. I like the larger screen size - easier to see info across the room. That said, the show devices never seem to hear our voices as easily as the other echo speakers or Sonos one speakers around the house. I have to speak louder to get the wake word to activate. Same issue with our Show 5. I think it’s because they have fewer far field microphones that other devices.

This is my 2nd one. Works great! I recommend it if you are looking for one

Great addition to the family room. Sound and picture quality is awesome.

I really enjoy the screen that displays tine weather and shows the lyrics of songs I play. Also a grest way to see family nenbers or check in when not home. The color is perfect

What a wonderful lil dohickey to have at my office desk! It’s great and even though I love the Dot, when you get one of these, you’ll never want the Dot again, LOLOL.

Replaced a smaller echo - the bigger screen and more/up-to-date technology was the money. In addition, I purchased the optional stand - which I recommend if you placing in a home office setting.

As with all Alexa products I've purchased, the Echo Show is great since I am able integrate with alarm and view the camera asap when the doorbell rings. Highly recommended.

This and the camera the brink camera works awesome together everyone should buy one together instead of having to look at your phone to see the camera it works together with Alexa hey see it on the screen. Best product I’ve ever bought from Best Buy.

Screen resolution was good. Simple interfaces make it easy to use.

Innovative and convenient. I like having the screen to pair with my smart cams and lights.

The echo show 8 can run a zoom app, plus it can show multiple people at the same time, unlike the zoom phone app which shows the active speaker (you don’t see people who aren’t talking). Very useful, worth it just for zoom.

The sound is more bassy than clear, but good. It is OK for monitoring cameras and answering door bell.

Bought this item to connect it with my Ring Door Bel letc. Works great, does everything I expected. We already had two if them for other rooms, so yes, we knew what we got.

I love my Amazon 8 Show. I still have my older Alexa but it doesn't have any video. I enjoy having the answers to my questions printed out and shown on the screen. The price is very reasonable and this would make a great gift!
