This is a great purchase! I upgraded from the echo dot. I’m amazed at the sound quality and clarity. I would highly recommend this. It’s very user friendly and extremely easy to install. The cooking videos are my favorite.

It's a great product. We can call our out of town family and video chat. Great for those who cannot make it in for the holidays. Plays music, responds to questions, shows our ring door bell live camera, can be used as a timer, etc... Only thing I don't like is alexa does not know the answer to many simple questions, where my google app does.

Great price when on sale. Decent sound for an all-house speaker system. Nice to have a video to be able to see Ring cameras and also play music through the multi-speaker system. The drop-in feature is nice also.

I use this in my office for a photo display - it rotates through all my pictures. BUT - it is also my calendar, my music player (and shows the lyrics!), it reminds me of things that I need to do, sets timers and alarms, and answers my random questions. I like it so much that I am going to get one for my 2 1/2-year-old granddaughter so that she can call me via Alexa and see me. We use FaceTime right now, but she tends to walk around the house with it and point it at the ceiling :-). She is already proficient in asking the Echo Dot to play songs for her, so I am sure that this will be even better! Love this toy/tool!

We love it. It’s in our kitchen and my wife loves using it for making grocery shopping lists and recipes. The kids love it too. They love watching Netflix and playing music where they can read the lyrics to most songs.

This was an impulse buy and I absolutely love it! I keep it on my kitchen counter. Plays music while I cook, cooking videos and even shows I want to catch up while I am cooking. Going to hook up a ring doorbell to it soon.

Bought two of these. One for me and one for my sister in Atlanta. Purchased unit for its video calling. Works great. Really easy to use. Very versatile and useful technology Would recommend . others to purchase.

Quite a useful toy. Drop in and spy on your family. Or your bad dog. Carry on a conversation your phone already does. Even has this FaceTime thing like iphone did years ago. Stream shows and movies on an 8 inch screen instead of your 60 inch. Speaker sucks but it’s loud. Ask Alexa anything so she can tell you she’s “not sure about that.”

Great device. Fun and very useful. Amazing technology for the price. The sound is very good and has nice bass. We use it a lot for lists, timers, and music. Easy to setup and use.

Love echo show 8 so much i bought another one for my bedroom and one for my brother's birthday. I'm sad i was so resistant to change. It's made my life so much smoother.

The Echo Show 8 with Alexa is a great addition to our life. It is fun to have a bigger screen to see who you are talking to. It is also great in order to use it in the kitchen to see a video on how to do something that you have never done.

Very good product in such a low price. I use this to view my cameras, control TV and other appliances using Alexa. My wife listens to Music while cooking, speakers of high quality.

I absolutely love my Echo 8. I love the big screen, I can talk with my daughter, watch movies, listen to my playlists. Previously I had a 1st generation Alexa, what a difference!

I bought this for my mother and she absolutely loves this. Watch her youtube and listen to music with a decent sound to go with it. It's the perfect size for her to see and be portable to plug up in multiple rooms.

This was bought as a gift for me and I love it. The bigger screen is nice and it has a nice sound resonance. I have this in my bedroom and it’s great at night as the screen dims as not to disturb ones sleep.

Had this device for a couple weeks now and works great has a nice size screen to watch videos loud speaker to listen to my music throughout the house and corresponds with all my other devices perfectly will recommend to all

I recently received the EchoShow 5 as a free item for purchasing the Ring Spotlight Cameras (2 pack). The ability (or “skill”) to tell Alexa to show me our driveway or backyard on the screen was very convenient, but the screen on the Show5 was a little small. When Amazon announced they were releasing the Show8 with the larger screen, I immediately added it to the shopping cart. Easy setup with my Ring Cameras and Alexa app on my phone. Sound is great for playing music!

Bought it for 60 dollars. Echo 8 is a perfect size for a digital personal assistant by your bed side. Screen size larger than this would have been too large for my bedroom. It let's you play news, youtube videos and prime shows directly on the device. Though it understands a lot more instructions than other smart devices , I find its response time to lot slower than Google mini.

Love how easy to use it is! Visual and sound is loud and clear. I suffer from hearing loss and planned to use my echo dot with it but it’s not even necessary during zoom and Facebook calls. Exceptional product!
