It was a really great gift for my girlfriend. She uses it everyday to play music, watch YouTube and prime video as she gets ready for work. Love that we can video chat with our echo 8 and echo 5

This Echo Show can do so much, I'm still learning all it can do. Very easy to set up, screen size is big enough to see it easy but small enough to not take up too much space. My 3 year old can even use it!

I upgraded from a simple alexa disc device to this smart display. I ask myself why did I wait so long and how did I get along in my life so long with out this alexa smart display. This version works with my ring camera displaying visitors on the camera, acts like a walkie talkie I can call and check in on home visitors, can display you favorite photos, I even have a smart over connected to it. There is some troubleshooting to get all your devices synced but once you do it is totally worth it makes life just a bit easier and fun

Absolutely love my Echo show 8! Its got so many features and Alexa makes it so easy. I even have it hooked up to my ring doorbell. Love the video chat feature too. Makes communicating with family so nice.

Great product, easy setup, simple to use- if you’re familiar with the alexa devices already! Voice activated and touch screen. Great for seeing the weather, time, daily calendar, & amazon purchases/subscriptions (on the way)- right from my entertainment console. Easy to view your ring cameras- and much more. I have it setup to view my favorite pictures when its not being used. Definitely recommend. For someone not technically inclined it can serve many purposes just from their voice— just depends on what they’ll be using it for. My mother personally loves to watch movie trailers on hers.

If you love your echo 5. This is a must have upgrade. The screen size is a must enjoyable plus. Now I can clearly see HD movies as a cook or clean the kitchen.

Been using a Echo Show 5 for couple years. The Larger screen is bright, clear and easier to view. Sound is much better with deeper bass. Setup was easy and use was immediate.

The screen is large and it has excellent sound. We play music, movies and more on it. Love that I can communicate with my family when away through this device. Also has glass breakage detection.

Bought it while it was on sale, it’s very easy to use. Speaker on the back is surprisingly loud. I love how it has a built in camera shutter. Would recommend

Not much to say here it’s another Alexa product I own so many hard to keep track, but this puts my echo show 1st gen to shame-bigger screen, better picture, manual switch to close camera

If your looking for a Amazon device that has the features of Echo, but want to touch it instead the Show 8" is one. I think it's easy to navigate on and show what I want on the screen.

I'm upgrade mi echo for this 8" screen I really like it. I can watch YouTube videos look the news. And many other things I conet all my devices. With Alexa Make so much easier for me.

Easy set up and use. Voice and picture quality work well too. Gave it as a gift and the person loves it. Small and doesn’t take up much space on the counter.

Got this with first smart home items this made it easily the best option for a main hub set up. The 8 inch screen was a better value than the other models and video quality was better.

I love my new toy. The size is great at 8 inches with great resolution. Pairs easily and the speaker sounds as good as my $300 Bose. Sale price was awesome. Now the kids want one. Very satisfied.

Very nice big screen that is visible from my bed. Speaker is very good as well. I use it for just the usual alexa stuff and as a clock.. no more wall clocks for me.

Excellent device, Works great for music and the speaker quality is really good. I wish Amazon considers giving it some self battery life so that you can use such a great speaker portably.

I already had an Echo Dot and and Echo Show 5. The Show 5 is great for the bedroom since it matches the average size of bedroom clock. But the Echo Show 8 is great for living areas. The screen is bright and pretty sharp. The sound clarity is way better than the Dot and a little bit better than the Show 5. If you are debating between the Show 5 and Show 8 consider you location. Very easy to set up either though the touch screen or the Alexa App on your smart phone. Love this model! Combine this with Amazon Smart Plugs and lights to create a smart home that turns on lights automatically at certain times. Set reminders for certain task. Timers to help with cooking. So many things!
