    The best thing about this Echo product is the fact that you can block the camera without using tape. Works great for looking up recipes while in the kitchen. The speakers are pretty good also.

    nice screen but I wish it came with more instructions in the box; got this for my mom and it was difficult to set up. had to go to you tube video

    I bought this for my mother as an upgrade to the echo dot. I intended to set this up with her Ring cameras and provide a handfree mobile experience when unable to reach the phone. Intial setup was easy, using the same Amazon Alexa app and her Amazon account. However, I was unable to connect her phone fully. You can call out with saved contacts but unable to receive incoming calls. I contacted Amazon Tech support but was given numerous suggestions that didn't work. The Alexa features are the highlight of this device, but phone compatibility is a downfall.
