I didn't think at first that this 8" would be much larger than the 5" version. I was wrong. Beautiful screen, clear sound, and great touch navigation.

I already had an Echo Dot and and Echo Show 5. The Show 5 is great for the bedroom since it matches the average size of bedroom clock. But the Echo Show 8 is great for living areas. The screen is bright and pretty sharp. The sound clarity is way better than the Dot and a little bit better than the Show 5. If you are debating between the Show 5 and Show 8 consider you location. Very easy to set up either though the touch screen or the Alexa App on your smart phone. Love this model! Combine this with Amazon Smart Plugs and lights to create a smart home that turns on lights automatically at certain times. Set reminders for certain task. Timers to help with cooking. So many things!

My kids love asking Alexa to tell them a joke and I love the fact that they can ask Netflix to show thentheir favorite shows, it also makes my life a little easier

Nice good size echo show. My kids love it in family room, use it a digital picture frame while idle... ready to use with one word - Alexa! Sound is much better than the echo dot or echo show 5.

Love the echo show! The picture is of excellent quality. It helps me cook as it keeps the recipe up on the screen. It shows the words to songs so I can sing along.

Good size screen. Works with Alexa. I use all the time for cameras, smart plugs, smart thermostat. Alexa has trouble hearing you sometimes and correctly. I hope Amazon fixes that.

I loveeeee this alexa so much. I make alexa remind me to do things. I havw alexa look up things for me so i do not have to read. I have alexa also text or call for me. It is a great tool to use if you want to jam out to rock. THe base is great and I love how alexa still hears me even though the music is blaring. I have given Alexa and Amazon several ideas bc it hears my loud mouth and my awesome inventions.

I love putting on music while i cook. An how easy it yes to get recipes, Tell ask to put a timer on instead of touching the stove timer with your dirty hands lol I watch HULU on mine too.

First time i tried this echo and im impressed on how easy it is to use. I link it with other devices. I put all my pictures here. Its easy to get all the music i want.

Good device if you have ring you must have this recommended

This Echo Show 8 is a perfect size to sit on my computer desk, play video clips as I request, and listen to music from SiriusXM. The picture is amazing, the sound quality exceptional.

I bought this for the size of the screen. I wanted a larger screen when pairing with my security cameras. The picture quality is excellent and it pairs well with the cameras.

Have this in the kitchen. It has great sound for music while we're cooking. The wife uses it to watch Prime shows while in the kitchen or for recipes. Our favorite Echo device.

Great, during pandemic I would use it to check on my kids to see if they were doing homework at the other room lol

The perfect in room assistant. My wife loves it in the Kitchen and Bedroom to play videos and music during chores and when she wants to hear music louder than the Google Mini.

Easy to use, and much better sound quality out of my 8'' Echo as compared to the 5'' model. Strongly recommend the 8'' over the 5'' considering the normal price difference.
