I bought an Echo Show 8 (Sandstone) for my Mom for Xmas, then bought an Echo Dot gen 3 (Charcoal) and now am Echo Show 8 (Charcoal) for myself! This device is amazing, especially if you're really into listening to music! Alexa is something special and her AI is pretty advanced. The sound is very clear and I highly recommend to all ages. You won't regret it!!! I bought all all 3 devices on-sale too.

I had the first gen show, upgraded to this one and wow it’s so much better. Bigger screen, better sound, etc a must buy.

I have been eyeing the echo show line since it came out. I have several 2nd gen dots and enjoyed them so wanted to upgrade my Alex experience. Almost picked up a bogo for the show 5 a few months back and glad I held off because I jumped on the deal of the day and scored a bogo on these Show 8’s and I am very happy with the purchase even though one arrived with a nick in the side but BestBuy was great and offered a replacement or discount to keep the item. All in all these are great smart displays with a crisp HDish picture and very good sound. Just wish it had the light for notifications and you could customize it a bit more. Also the mic array could use some improvement. I find myself having to shout and speak slowly for it to recognize what I am saying. Hopefully the next gen has those improvements but for now it’s a solid choice and happy with the purchase.

Excellent product. The slightly larger screen than the Echo Show 5 is great. I have it in the kitchen and can see recipes on it or watch the morning news when preparing breakfast. Installation was smooth and it was up and running in just a few minutes. I bought the 1st generation since I don’t plan to use the camera. Apparently the camera is a higher resolution than the 1st generation. Got it for half price.

I bought a pair of these as an option for video calls to my elderly parent. She loves that if continually rotates pictures of my kids that I can upload and refresh from my home 4 hours away. I have mine set-up to give me a notification when she uses the device for the first time each day so, I know to check in if she has not used by a reasonable time in the morning.

Just the right sizw for my home. I t keeps us in contact with family while we are on the raod in the RV where we have the Echo show 2.... Easy set up but again not happy with it being connected to my amazon account gets confusing

This is actually, my third Show-8 purchased for my living room to help me view my Ring Cameras. The product works as described, Easy setup great quality picture and coverage is far superior then the Ring Doorbell better than expected Night Vision and detection. I use another in the kitchen for recipes to cook overall the product functions as I want. However it is not true AI, but we are still in the development stages of AI. The next leap for the 21st Century. Thank you, Best Buy,

So happy I bought 2! This is my new favorite tech item. It’s small enough that it fits on my nightstand, but has a large enough screen that I can turn over and watch a show at night without disturbing my significant other (as a television would) Can’t wait to see these evolve and gain more capabilities! Best Buy/Amazon send me the full size one for my kitchen please!!!

I love it. Then again I have 6 Amazon devices lol. I love the 8, it was an upgrade from the 5 which i wasn't to fond of because of the tiny screen size for the price. Ive been enjoying it so far. I use it as a bedside device. It is my alarm in the morning as well as news briefing while getting ready for work. I also have a smart bulb in my bedside lamp and i use my Amazon Echo to control that. I would definitely recommend IF your an Amazon device user.

Have been using it for a few days. Was comparing with Google Home, this is just equally good. It works with YouTube, but don't have as an app. Need to login in it's browser, but search works well. Loving the suggestions it shows. Only drawback, for video calls you need the other person to have the Alexa app or similar Echo show. All companies allow only their proprietary apps to work in its devices. So ok with this.

Love this new color and bought this one for a friend’s housewarming present. This is something I didn’t know I needed or even wanted, but now I love it and appreciate its helpfulness. It shows all my pictures on a loop; reminds me every day to not forget a variety of things; plays music I ask for with decent quality; and answers questions including any recipe I may want.

Love this product. Very easy to use with Alexa. Large screen extremely clear and crisp.
