Never owned a smart speaker with a screen before, so this was my first. Needless to say, it's awesome. I enjoy being able to see all my security cameras on it, as well as cooking recipes and any other things I may ask it to show me. Really helps push that smart home feel to the next level. This one is smaller than the Echo Show, but it has a camera cover which helps with privacy. I keep the Echo Show 8 in my bedroom and the Echo Show in my kitchen. They work perfectly together.

I love my Echo Show 8" It's perfect for our kitchen- we can set timers, see recipes, and great for FaceTime.

Bought this for my mom. She loves it! We can video chat, she can ask for recipes, listen to music etc..

My first echo show 8. Had 2 other show 5. This works same if not better. The big screen is plus and better speaker as in louder. Easy setup like other shows. Pleased with product.

I have been using an Echo Dot for a couple years, and I upgraded to the Echo Show. It is a little pricey, but I got a good deal on the "Deal of the Day" so I decided to try it. I am so glad I did! It is so much fun displaying my Amazon photos...walking by and seeing random memories. And the sound on the Echo Show is far superior to the Dot. I enjoy listening to music, and Alexa can find just about any song you ask for! I'm having fun learning all the new capabilities of the Alexa app.

I love this little Show. I enjoy finding out what all it can do. But it is great sounding when I play music, I use it as an alarm clock, as a sleep helper by getting relaxing music for sleep. I haven't learned how to "check in" with family yet. My son and granddaughter have one. I'm looking forward to working that out. Got it at a great price for Black Friday.

Amazing echo show 8 perfect size easy to program and set up

I originally had an Echo Show 5 myself, but I gave it to my elderly parents for watching available video programming during the pandemic in 2020. As a birthday treat, I got the Echo Show 8 and swapped it with the Echo Show 5 to give my elderly parents a bigger screen for watching things on. Even though I do not necessarily watch programming on my Echo Show, it is fun for games that have the video feature as well as the flash briefings.

Love this device. You can make video calls on it, watch movies, tv, etc. Really compact and sits on my bedside table.

Purchased for an older parent. Easy to set up for her and the new look and sound is better than older models.

Perfect to use with my Ring Plays music and movies as well. Plays games with you, ask Alexa questions, set reminders. Great!

I love how I can just ask to launch Prime movies and bam there they are. The speaker is incredible. Like a mini sound bar!

Perfectly sits in between the full-sized Echo 10 and the Echo 5. Fuller sound than the Show 5, with more base. Great unit.

No problem Alexa works fine and easy to set up. I would recommend this monitor. Alexa liks to tell jokes. It’s corney but it make laugh. It sls gives you the weather degree and many more features. Try it out you will like it. This my point of you. It does a lot more but so far i will continue learning and the different features. What more can i say try it out for yourself.

Very good… i like it my kids like it too and i am listening to michael jackson on it .
